We performed a comparison between Check Point CloudGuard CNAPP and SentinelOne Singularity Cloud Security based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Cloud-Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPP) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."I love the work involved in maintaining and scaling security services and configurations across multiple public clouds using this solution, versus using native native cloud security controls. It is so much better. The different cloud platforms all have their own way that they handle a lot of the stuff that Dome9 handles. Even within their platform, they are in a lot of disparate places, e.g., in AWS, there are five different tools. You have to jump between them to get the same information that you can just pull in automatically on Dome9, which is just one platform. We are using multiple platforms, so that makes it even more complicated and time consuming if you had to just rely on them to get all of your information. Whereas, it's all just summarized and put together on the Dome9 end."
"Its monitoring and alerts are triggered by a failure or non-compliance with policies. It helps us to be able to act effectively and quickly."
"We have more visibility than ever before, appreciating the valuable and proactive insight that we receive from the platform."
"It offers a range of features tailored to address the unique security challenges."
"The administration portal panel is very intuitive."
"The most valuable feature is the CloudBots for auto-remediation of security findings."
"The most valuable features of CloudGuard CNAPP are its reporting capabilities for aggregating vulnerability information and scoring."
"Gives us centralized firewall management for both Windows and Linux distros. Also provides a clear view of the security configurations and connections across environments (DMZ, external and internal networks)."
"We really appreciate the Slack integration. When we have an incident, we get an instant notification. We also use Joe Sandbox, which Singularity can integrate with, so we can verify if a threat is legitimate."
"Cloud Native Security is user-friendly. Everything in the Cloud Native Security tool is straightforward, including detections, integration, reporting, etc. They are constantly improving their UI by adding plugins and other features."
"It is very straightforward. It is not complicated. For the information that it provides, it does a pretty good job."
"It's helped free up staff time so that they can work on other projects."
"There's real-time threat detection. It can show threats and find issues based on their severity and helps us with real-time monitoring."
"Cloud Native Security helps us discover vulnerabilities in a cloud environment like open ports that allow people to attack our environment. If someone unintentionally opens a port, we are exposed. Cloud Native Security alerts us so we can remediate the problem. We can also automate it so that Cloud Native Security will fix it."
"It's positively affected the communication between cloud security, application developers, and AppSec teams."
"PingSafe's graph explorer is a valuable tool that lets us visualize all connected services."
"Currently, I would like this solution extended to cellular devices or tablets."
"The dashboard customization has room for improvement."
"The costs are high."
"When rules change, it messes up the remediation. They haven't found a fix for that yet. The remediation rule goes into limbo. It's an architectural design flaw within their end compliance engine—a serious bug."
"We're looking for a solution that can incorporate legacy infrastructure for some of our business needs."
"Currently, worldwide, there are many companies of all sizes that do not understand the value that their data has, but even with all existing clouds, they also do not understand what the shared responsibility model is. They only assume that by having a cloud, the provider must ensure safety, when the truth is that the providers only secure their sites. Everything we do in the cloud and how we configure it is actually our responsibility."
"I would like to see tighter integration with other compliance tools, like Chef Compliance, in addition to Inspector."
"The solution could be improved with a greater analysis of its Microsoft Security score."
"We are experiencing problems with Cloud Native Security reporting."
"After closing an alert in Cloud Native Security, it still shows as unresolved."
"If I had to pick a complaint, it would be the way the hosts are listed in the tool. You have different columns separated by endpoint name, Cloud Account, and Cloud Instances ID. I wish there was something where we could change the endpoint name and not use just the IP address. We would like to have custom names or our own names for the instances. If I had a complaint, that would be it, but so far, it meets all the needs that we have."
"We had a glitch in PingSafe where it fed us false positives in the past."
"They need more experienced support personnel."
"The categorization of the results from the vulnerability assessment could be improved."
"PingSafe's current documentation could be improved to better assist customers during the cluster onboarding process."
"When we get a new finding from PingSafe, I wish we could get an alert in the console, so we can work on it before we see it in the report. It would be very useful for the team that is actively working on the PingSafe platform, so we can close the issue the same day before it appears in the daily report."
