"The backup and recovery options work flawlessly.""The solution can be improved by including a load balancer.""Acronis Disaster Recovery has good scalability.""Patch management, backup, and disaster recovery have been the solution's most valuable features for our data protection strategy.""Our customers use Acronis Disaster Recovery for data backup.""One key feature is it encrypts your data at rest which is really good.""Performance-wise, it works efficiently for backup and recovery compared to other tools.""The most valuable features of the product for me are its backup and recovery functionalities."

"The ROI is very good because of the speed of the backup.""It is very stable.""There are many backup options available in this solution. For example, you are able to do backups of servers, email, OST files, and users. This is a complete backup solution which is very good.""The recovery part of the product is very good.""Arcserve has a feature called virtual standby (VSB), which has been very helpful because I already have a hot standby copy of my critical infrastructure. If something breaks, I can spin up that virtual standby copy in less than five minutes and ensure that my data is available to everyone and that business continuity is maintained.""This product is extremely user-friendly and it is capable of performing large-scale archive/backup (five+ years worth). It is easy to store, maintain, and check backups.""The data protection functionality is the most valuable feature of this solution.""The product provides instant and virtual standbys."

Cons
"The solution covers specific versions of Windows and Linux, and it would be good if other Linux versions or some special appliances could work in the Acronis Disaster Recovery environment.""They could provide pricing models considering the requirements of various countries and organizations.""In the future, I would like to see cross-platform support.""I wish the Disaster Recovery system could do more, like integrating irregularity features and combining VLP functionalities.""The cost is acceptable.""The product should improve compute points.""Acronis Disaster Recovery should provide software information wherein I can change my setup to collect more information.""The documentation can be improved, this would have helped."

More Acronis Disaster Recovery Cons →

"The only problem with the solution is that when I change the drive capacity, it has to do a full backup. It's a problem when I have five servers to backup. When I only want to change the size of the drive, I have to do a full backup that can take one week.""The solution can use a lot of bandwidth when the scheduling is not done, it should auto-schedule itself. For example, if there are 50 users connected in the network at 12 o'clock and the backup is not scheduled. At this time the network offices are going to have performance issues when it is doing a backup. Having a feature to auto-schedule a time when the network is not being used often would be beneficial.""StorageCraft ShadowProtect can improve by making one console that can control backups of all desktops and servers in one place. Additionally, the recovery process of the backups is very slow and could improve. It's very slow when we went to recover a complete disc but to recover one file is very fast.""One of the biggest drawbacks of Arcserve UDP is that it does not have a single console, making it an area that needs to be considered for improvement.""The speed of restores should be improved. We have found the speed of large restores rather slow.""The technical support of the product is an area of concern where improvements are required.""The support could be more knowledgeable and faster.""It should be easier to switch between backup locations. We have multiple data storage locations and sometimes one of those storages need to be replaced. It would be nice if they made it easier to reconfigure the backup configuration."
