We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"It allows me to present or to demonstrate the business process flow, visually, without having to resort to PowerPoint, Visio, or other products.""The modeler is useful for creating the flow. The way to access the data through their REST API is also valuable. This is what we're using right now.""Ease of use and ability to streamline a process model.""The UI is very user-friendly compared to other products. The native, vanilla UI is very interesting and intuitive to use. It's user-friendly when it comes to modernizing a business process.""One valuable feature of the solution is its flexibility.""The integration with almost any language, product, and even human tasks, is valuable. It's very seamless to integrate into existing systems. It doesn't require you to rewrite a lot of your existing system. That's where it really stands out.""I love that Camunda is a very developer-friendly platform, and my customers have evaluated the pricing as reasonable.""The solution is easily compatible with HTML forms and HTML language programming and that is the most significant part."

"Kofax TotalAgility is stable.""It is user-friendly and has good documentation. It's good for developing communication and has a lot of the APIs needed for this purpose. There aren't a lot of software options available from this time period; this is the only one from 2013 that has this concept of microservices.""The tool is low code which saves you from a developer.""The product is really good, and it is easy to use. It comes with multiple integrations. The solution keeps up with the trend of Microsoft Copilot and AI.""It's not so complex to design what you need to.""What I find most valuable in Kofax TotalAgility is its OCR feature. I also find its workflow and business process management capabilities valuable. Kofax TotalAgility also has good integration with other solutions and has an API call feature.""Its integration capabilities are valuable. It has low code/no code features. You have to do minimal coding.""Now it has an OCR, optical character recognition, engine where it can extract data from the document."

Cons
"Lacking in forms visualization.""The product must provide more videos and training materials.""I would like to have a feature for audit logging, audit logs and audit log management. And some history of use for the audit logs.""The product does not have a dictionary.""The initial setup can be complex for business users.""The cockpit features of the Camunda Platform can be improved to make it a bit more user-friendly, in terms of providing a bit more user experience for non-technical users. There could be some additional documentation added.""The user interface needs improvement. It should be more tailored to the end-user and offer a better user experience design over the user interface itself.""In the future, I would like to see better transactional integrity."

More Camunda Cons →

"The one thing I would like to see more of right now: is a simplified form creation. That would be the most significant improvement I would like to see in their product.""Room for improvement would be better OCR functionality in terms of Arabic OCR. There should be better accuracy.""Kofax TotalAgility is quite vast and complex as a product. We came from Kofax Capture and Kofax Transformation, then we started learning Kofax TotalAgility, so there are a lot of things that were quite straightforward in the Kofax Capture and Kofax Transformation cross-motion modules, but to do those in Kofax TotalAgility was a bit more complex or quite long-winded and could be improved. In the next release of Kofax TotalAgility, it would be good to have a straightforward low-code or no-code process because there were instances we struggled with having to put logic into a script or a .NET script, then calling that script, instead of the process being low-code, no-code.""Sometimes there isn't enough accuracy when it comes to extracts.""They provide sufficient but not excellent technical support. Perhaps there is a point where they could use some improvement.""It’s not truly low code yet, as every two or three projects, you will have a situation where you have to go behind the essential things. You will definitely still need to customize.""The pricing for Kofax TotalAgility could be more attractive, particularly the cloud version of the solution which was offered to my company. This is its area for improvement.""TotalAgility needs to improve communication with ECMs or other file storage systems because TotalAgility does not have file storage. A good improvement would be to create file storage or integrate with other file storage tools that are currently available."

  • "Kofax TotalAgility is very expensive."
  • "It has a perpetual license. You pay once in a lifetime for the volume of scans you will do and the number of users you will have. You can have participants or regular users, and you can have developers and administrators. So, once you purchase it, it is for a lifetime, and then every year, you have to pay for the maintenance. There is an annual maintenance cost, which is about 18% of the licensing cost."
