Find out what your peers are saying about Microsoft, Informatica, Oracle and others in Data Integration."Its simplicity and the way it handles graphs are the most valuable features."
"Talend can connect to multiple data sources, including relational data sources, ERP, CRM, and others."
"The main differentiator that I have seen between Talend and other data integration tools is the ability to view the data pipeline in the form of a program."
"Open Studio's best features are that it's user-friendly, even for beginners, and very easy to implement."
"This solution has improved our overall time to value for data ingestion."
"There are many architectures: hybrid, cloud, and on-prem."
"The most valuable feature of Talend Open Studio is the tMap component. There is a lot of functionality in one component."
"It's a good tool. It has the ability to take apart and install whatever we need. It's very good for data, transformation, and loading."
"This is a user-friendly solution that is easy to use."
"If I could give any advice to the guys who are developing it, I would suggest them to really look at the enterprise features, such as being able to log what's going on, being able to capture the current state of processing, and being able to recover from error situations. So, there should be a focus on logging, recoverability, and monitoring. We should be able to monitor what's going on, and in case of any issues, we should be able to recover and restart processing and other things. For scalability and performance, I would probably suggest the Pushdown feature so that you can do the transformation directly on the data source. You do not need to do that calculation within the ETL server. For this, you should be aware of the type of data because each database or kind of storage, such as Hadoop, has its own ANSI standard or language, such as SQL. Microsoft, Oracle, and IBM have their own language. Based on the feedback that I have got, its initial setup takes some time. It could perhaps be simpler."
"We need more components to be more efficient. We use a lot of components, such as Salesforce, and it's not easy to use. There's are minor bugs and it's not easy to use some of the features."
"The server-side should be completely revamped."
"The profiling perspective needs improvement. Instead of using it in the studio, we are using a different tool which is also provided by Talend. It's redundant."
"The price for Talend Data Integration should be less expensive."
"Inter-version compatibility is a problem, and migration projects between versions are required."
"The solution should offer better integration with other products."
"It is complicated to understand the configuration process for email components."
"The pricing could be lower. They should work to make it more affordable."
