We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The initial setup is easy and the deployment is quick.""It allows us to manage all client requests, jobs and invoicing.""The database is great. It's a nicely ordered database.""Remote access and detailed monitoring help us support our equipment.""The most value we get from this solution is that everything is on a patch cycle.""Maybe they could improve the capability to be multi-tenant.""We use monitors to keep track of our machines. We use a pretty good portion of information from Automate.""A good automated scripts feature."

"Meraki dashboard deserves an Oscar.""It has improved my organization in the way that we've got a much better wireless coverage than we had before, and secondly, we have the visibility of all the users.""An excellent dashboard that is currently unique in covering both SD-WAN and SD-LAN with built-in security.""The most valuable feature is its simplicity in navigating through the dashboard. It's well set out, and the layout is nice and user friendly. A lot of clients enjoy seeing layer 7 visibility. They get a good indication and insight into what is happening in their network and what applications are being used the most. They can then customize and give preference to business-critical applications.""Scalability is one of Meraki Dashboard's strongest features. We have thousands of users if we're counting the end-users on our clients' network, but we have hundreds of clients.""What I found most valuable in Meraki Dashboard is that it's well-organized, easy to use, and practical.""We find that Meraki has all the features you need to be able to enable complex network protocols for AV equipment. We deal with a streaming product over IP, and Meraki is fantastic at that.""We like how Meraki Dashboard lets you manage all the devices in a single pane of glass. The dashboard is intuitive and easy to use. They are constantly updating the functionality. Switches from other vendors have the same features for the life of the device, but Meraki is always improving."

Cons
"Patching and reporting need improvements, especially reporting. The reporting engine is quite outdated, so you end up having to use your own dashboard.""The fixed client for Automate is slow. The web client is not very intuitive.""The project management needs improvement and there's a section of the product called configuration that also needs to be improved.""This is a raw system. Of course, it has some flaws that could be improved. But, it's something that we will have to work with to get to the point where we need this, we request it and they do their best to make it happen.""I have a problem with the reports available on the solution. I don't understand how to work with the reporting functionality. For example, when I want to give a report for a specific machine, ConnectWise doesn't seem to have this as an option. I'm not sure if I'm missing something, or if the reporting functionality is just poorly conceived.""In Patch Manager, there should be more reportability so that it is easier to see the updates that I have applied to a machine and when the next update will happen. A lot of times, it seems like all the information is kind of thrown all over the place, and you can't really see it all at the same time. There should be a simplified patch data view that allows us to quickly confirm that our various clients are getting patched as they should be.""The menu doesn't always load properly.""Technical support was helpful."

"The tool is useful for managing devices and monitoring their current state, but it falls short in troubleshooting network issues, particularly with access points. It does not provide a complete understanding of the root causes of the issues. As a result, network engineers have had to use additional tools to complement it and conduct assessments. The only way to improve the tool would be to enhance its capability to identify and resolve network issues effectively.""I’d like the product to allow for other solutions to be integrated with the dashboard as well.""One area that could use improvement in the Meraki Dashboard is user-friendliness when navigating to port configurations.""There needs to be more improvement on the device-connected interface.""The solution has a limited routing table and needs improvement by increasing the numbers as well as providing a summarization for the table.""We would like to be able to test the health of WAN connections.""Meraki Dashboard could improve integration with non-Cisco platforms.""The MDM, however, is bad. We're using another MDM now because Meraki was so bad."
