"PortSwigger Burp Suite does not hamper the node of the server, and it does not shut down the server if it is running.""You can scan any number of applications and it updates its database.""I personally love its capability to automatically and accurately detect vulnerabilities. So, I would say it is the Burp scanner that is THE most powerful, valuable, and an awesome feature.""PortSwigger Burp Suite Professional has an intercept tab that helps us to scan our APIs, set the response, and request errors.""The extension that it provides with the community version for the skills mapping is excellent.""It helps in API testing, where manual intervention was previously necessary for each payload.""PortSwigger Burp Suite Professional is one of the best user-friendly solutions for getting the proxy set up.""The reporting part is the most valuable. It also has very good features. We use almost all of the features for different kinds of customers and needs."

Cons
"I would like the tool to integrate AI and automation that is dedicated to detecting software vulnerabilities."

More Digital.ai Application Security Cons →

"The one feature that I would like to see in Burp is active scanning of REST based web services. A lot of organizations are providing APIs to access their services to support different business models like SaaS. Scanning these APIs is still a challenge for many security product companies.""If we're running a huge number of scans regularly, it slows down the tool.""One thing that is not up to the mark in PortSwigger is web application testing. I found some issues with its performance and reporting. They should work on these and give us a better outcome.""The Auto Scanning features should be updated more frequently and should include the latest attack vectors.""One area that can be improved, when compared to alternative tools, is that they could provide different reporting options and in different formats like PDF or something like that.""The scanner and crawler need to be improved.""Mitigating the issues and low confluence issues needs some improvement. Implementing demand with the ChatGPT under the web solution is an additional feature I would like to see in the next release.""As with most automated security tools, too many false positives."
