We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Juniper Mist offers valuable features like comprehensive network insight, granular policy control, fast device setup, strong security, and efficient SSL traffic management.""The AI capabilities of Mist Wireless are superior to other OEMs.""The most useful feature of Juniper Wireless AP is the reporting Marvis.""The artificial intelligence feature is very good.""You can easily monitor, manage, and cover all your IT equipment.""Overall, we've been very pleased with the performance.""The most valuable feature of Juniper Wireless Access Points (AP Series) is the ability to troubleshoot ports on the network. Additionally, when there is an update on the APs they are able to reboot quickly reducing downtime. Other solutions have a longer downtime when updates are done.""The most valuable feature of Juniper Mist is the Virtual Network Assistant, powered by artificial intelligence."

"It is easy to use, manage, and implement.""The cost is low, and there is controller-less architecture.""The most valuable feature of this product is that it is easily deployed.""The most valuable feature of Aruba Instant is security.""The quick setup and automatic code embedded in one access point is really useful.""The central management of multiple devices is the solution's most valuable aspect.""The features I have found most valuable is that the solution creates a guest portal for guest networks, and setting up SSID authentication to the regular server.""The product's initial setup phase was straightforward, considering that the tool offers a ZTP feature."

"The internet connectivity is good.""From the WiFi aspect, it's very intuitive and easy to use. The solution enables me to manage my entire WiFi from anywhere in the world...""The meshing capabilities are the most valuable feature. When I am going in-between buildings, my phone doesn't have to pick up different WiFi. They are all the same. Even in-between the buildings, I stay connected.""The product's deployment is straightforward.""We use NETGEAR's Insight management solution to do off-property controls. It is user-friendly and provides network management, monitoring, and service deployment across multiple remote and local sites. That means I don't have to be physically at a location to do things if I want to make any changes to the network. It saves time and money.""The metrics demonstrate that NETGEAR really does a good job of balancing the load between the various access points on the networks and this results in an elimination of downtime.""I'm able to do a lot of things, because the GUI is designed very well. I'm able to remotely make certain changes via my phone and apply them right away. It makes life easier when it comes to managing the equipment. The Insight management solution phone app is very good. It enables me to do what I want to do.""The initial setup of NETGEAR Insight Access Points was straightforward."

Cons
"Enrolling into the tool is a tedious process.""The product should include adaptive Wi-Fi to show a more accurate location.""Juniper Mist Wireless Access Points’ support services need improvement.""I need a bit more time with it before criticizing the features.""Juniper Wireless Access Points (AP Series) could improve if the MIST platform had a built-in master key. This would be an advantage.""The pricing should be made cheaper.""They should include SD-WAN features to it.""Improvement is needed in the user-friendliness of Juniper Mist, particularly in enhancing the interaction with AI features."

More Juniper Mist Wireless Access Points Cons →

"There was only ever one case in which an access point failed, but it was reintegrated. The issue was more of a matter of oversight. One part of the network had covered ten access points.""I believe there's room for improvement in monitoring, especially when troubleshooting issues. Currently, there's limited intelligence around monitoring. It needs to improve stability and scalability.""It uses a different portal and has limitations from the customer side as it's not refined for MSP.""It is good as it is. If anything, its reporting could be improved.""This solution would be improved if they supplied free software controllers.""The product can be improved by adding a clear interface.""The connectivity of the solution can use some improvement.""For on-premises, I would rate the scalability a seven out of ten. For on-prem, if I want to integrate two more controls, and I want to extend my network , and add a couple of access points that need to be integrated with my network, I have to do the configurations and all. So that will be each and every time, as and when the users expand, the Wi-Fi solution expands; I need to do the configuration settings on all other controllers."

More Aruba Instant Cons →

"There is always room for improvement.""The registration is annoying. I have to go back to NETGEAR and log tickets. Access points and router registration are something that they need to address in Insight. They need to fix the bug of getting the devices activated and enrolled in Insight without fighting with them. I have probably done about six of these in the last month. You get to see patterns.""A con is the backend system which is very, very slow.""The product's UI needs to be simplified and made more straightforward.""Software-wise, they need to provide the ability to kick users out. If multiple users are abusing the system or the network, I should be able to block them for a time and, when I need to unblock them, I should be able to do so by using their MAC ID. That feature might already be there and I just don't know about it.""My major problem is right now, the area which I need to cover is around 7,000 to 10,000 square feet...I would like NETGEAR Insight Access Points to extend the area coverage they provide.""The pricing and standard connectivity can be further improved.""Ubiquiti is a very good company. NETGEAR should look at that model and expand on its remote capabilities. Ubiquiti seems to have a better product."
