Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Postman allows you to incorporate and export the test cases we create. It enables me to share the test cases with my colleagues, so I don't have to copy them into an Excel sheet. Postman lets me export the dataset and share it with my team. They can use my test case for their testing.""Postman helps to write pre-request scripts and make a collection out of each request. You don’t have to spend time writing or copying the requests. The solution lets you integrate multiple environments and their features. Either the tool’s pro or premium version lets you do the merge and pull request for the Git directly.""Postman helps us to automate the API testing in the team.""It's user-friendly. Anybody can learn it within five to seven minutes.""The solution has helped us very well in testing endpoint URLs.""I like that it is very easy to use. I also like the automation feature.""Good at simulating the API code from a fictitious client application to check API behavior.""The variables part is good. We can easily define the variables and we don't have to manually do a change every time, it gets automatically updated."

"The product allows us to uncover any potential issues early on.""The solution offers excellent integration capabilities.""The utmost importance lies in the performance of the application.""Using SoapUI's automation suites to run all our test cases saved us a lot of time. Running 300 test cases takes about three to four days. When you automate all that, it takes only two to three hours.""API mockups, functional testing, and load testing are valuable features.""The tool’s scalability is very good.""SoapUI Pro is a good tool when it comes to API design and orchestration. Additionally, it is beneficial for functional and for performance testing.""One good feature is SoapUI's URL check, which allows you to check among the applications. I'm not just talking about the ones for Android. It has all kinds of multi-world tests that are really helpful."

Cons
"The scalability of the solution can be improved.""I live in Turkey, so for me, the value of dollar currency is high...Postman can change its pricing policy and decrease the prices for Turkey.""It would be better if we could integrate programming languages like .NET, Java, and JavaScript. It could also be more user-friendly.""Postman is a bit more of a complex tool, making it an area where improvements can be made.""I would like to see advanced automation in reference to Postman.""I would like that if you click on one of the fields you should be able to see the entire row of fields, names, and values.""The pricing should be adjusted for the Pro plan.""We do the implementation of Postman and give support. We had to use two engineers for the implementation, one senior and one junior for the process."

More Postman Cons →

"SoapUI Pro is a little heavy due to the number of features. Previously it was not that heavy. Now the tool is too heavy, they should work on fixing this issue because until your system has lots of resources, you won't be able to use it seamlessly. The performance of the application itself could improve.""Could integrate the graphing module for load testing.""Occasionally, when you are saving, the solution can hang.""It is limited to scope and risk services only. It does have some support for JMS, but it is not out-of-the-box; you have to do some tweaks here and there.""There are no bugs or glitches, but a few features available only in the Pro version could be made available in the open-source version. Some of the features do not necessarily need to be only available to Pro users. The data generator would be really useful for the open-source version users.""SoapUI would benefit from some more customization abilities. It's a good interface, but it would be nice if they added the ability to build custom dashboards where the user can do their own bar graphs and pie charts.""I find that I'm fighting with the opportunities to order requests.""SoapUI Pro could improve by having dashboards."
