We performed a comparison between Cambium Networks Wireless WAN and Ruckus Wireless WAN based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Wireless WAN solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."It's a good product and works well when there is a lot of interference."
"It is easy to deploy, and it is not that complicated. There are a lot of systems that are very complicated, and they require a special kind of training. Their response is also very slow, especially with the Chinese vendors, but with Cambium, we have not faced any issues. Everything is going well in terms of cooperation from Cambium. We are happy with them, their services, their cooperation, and their quick response. They are just amazing."
"The claim management feature is exceedingly simple."
"The product's scalability features are good."
"It is easy to deploy and has many specialists to help us handle complicated processes."
"The most valuable features of Cambium Networks Wireless WAN are cloud management and links."
"It excels in challenging environments and adverse weather conditions, maintaining high performance without any impact on the link quality."
"What I find valuable is the fact that you don't need to purchase any license. Basically you just get the hardware for the access points, configure an IP and connect it with a switch."
"There are numerous features, but what I like about Ruckus is that they have a good coverage range due to their BeamFlex technique."
"The technical features are very good and it's very useful if you need a wireless solution."
"The performance is very nice, the throughput is better than any other product, and it's reliable."
"The solution can scale well."
"The solution is easy to use and offers good management for wireless."
"Ruckus Wireless WAN is simple to use. Its coverage is better than other tools."
"The product is very user-friendly."
"The ratio of highest quality to value is the most valuable."
"Sometimes there are some latencies in devices. Otherwise, it is, for some time, not as stable."
"The product could have more access points to increase the network coverage."
"If they could move from the fixed wireless point to mobile, it will make a big change in the market. The cnPilot coverage should be covering big spaces. It should also have an external antenna, not a built-in antenna."
"One drawback is that Cambium's on-premises controller needs internet connectivity for installation, which can be a problem for clients who want it offline."
"I think this product could be improved if It were SMS based. If I have a visitor in my office, I'd like to be able to send them the wireless password as a message via SMS, so I don't have to give it out."
"The installation and configuration are a bit complex."
"Cambium Networks Wireless WAN's support services could be better."
"The Cambium user interface and configuration should be improved."
"The pricing needs to be reconsidered because it's expensive."
"So far, I find Ruckus Wireless WAN okay in terms of the technology and existing business network, but licensing could be more flexible, especially the IoT license that was changed to adapt to the IoT Controller and sensor subscription. The previous licensing method for Ruckus Wireless WAN was better. In my opinion, it wasn't a good decision to change it because the customer prefers the previous licensing over the current licensing. It's not only about the money in terms of licensing, but also about flexibility. The latest license change isn't as flexible. I also found the cloud solution not partner-friendly, so that could also be improved. Another area for improvement in Ruckus Wireless WAN is answering partner requests because currently, it doesn't seem easy for them. What I'd like to see in the next release of the solution is the AP having its MQTT forwarder. Ruckus Wireless WAN AP supports IoT modules now and to use the IoT modules, you need all IoT data to pass through the IoT Controller. If I could forward that IoT data directly to my environment, similar to what you can do with other solutions, that would be great."
"We have one sole distributor here in our region. To have multiple distributors here would be very helpful to improve the supply chain."
"I would like to see IoT device support available with WiFi six. IoT is used by all businesses. They are now using IoT devices. It is required."
"I would not consider this solution to be stable."
"The solution could be more stable."
"Ruckus Wireless WAN needs to improve its pricing."
"The solution's AI offering and pricing could be improved."
