We performed a comparison between Camunda and Informatica Business Process Manager based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Business Process Management (BPM) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The most valuable feature is that, with a visual system, you can try to have a process client before beginning the programming for the application."
"It's user friendly, much better than most tools I have seen."
"The modeler is useful for creating the flow. The way to access the data through their REST API is also valuable. This is what we're using right now."
"The UI is very user-friendly compared to other products. The native, vanilla UI is very interesting and intuitive to use. It's user-friendly when it comes to modernizing a business process."
"The flexibility is great."
"One reason we selected Camunda or Cloud/DB is that it comes with the support of the BPMN notation, which helps to define processes in a standard manner. Another reason was that Camunda Cloud, as the name says, is designed for a new cloud era."
"The best feature is the automation."
"We can share, discuss, and develop the model together — from a distance. It's really helped us during these times of isolation."
"Informatica Business Process Manager is easy to use and learn."
"There isn't any human touch involved. It's just an automated business process to build different applications and talking to various APIs using the client's ecosystems. We then build new functionalities out of it."
"I know that there are two good features, APN and ServiceNow but we haven't explored all of its features yet."
"The support offered by the product is an area of concern where improvements are required."
"The GUI needs to be improved, with more configuration options."
"In the future, I would like to see better transactional integrity."
"I would like to see the forms engine available in the open-source version of this solution."
"The business model could be easier to understand."
"The solution could use some enhancements like adding connectors, improving forms and having a mobile app, but everything is an enhancement rather than a flaw."
"They have a migration plugin that can be used to migrate from one BPM to another BPM. It is in the beta stage since last year. If they can make it available in the market, it would be great. We are going to have a couple of migration projects for migrating from IBM BPM to Camunda, and this plugin would be useful. I have already discussed this with them two weeks ago and asked them to look into this and add it as a feature. We are expecting this plugin to be available in the next version. This is the only requirement we have at present. They keep on coming up with different features, which is helping us a lot. Its latest release that came out last month was awesome."
"If there were some industry templates it would have helped significantly, because it is similar to a process map for a domain. That is what we are currently creating, a domain-relevant process map."
"We haven't had many technical issues. We don't use all of the components of the tool that are more complex and error-prone."
"I need to have some insight into the tool's cloud capabilities."
