Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"For machine learning, there is an in-built document and text classification feature in INTELLIBOT. That is unlike other RPA tools where one needs to procure a separate license. Besides this, the application is easy to use. One valuable feature is the drag-and-drop feature for AI and email intelligence. It is easier than using UiPath's IQ bot.""The return on investment is pretty good because the license cost is cheaper than other RPA tools in the market.""This solution is easy to use and requires little coding knowledge.""It is a stable product. We have been using it for 15 months now, and there have been no issues.""The replay of the automation is an awesome feature.""There's a helpful community available through the portal.""I have found the most valuable feature to be the straightforward visual editor, it has close to no code required. It allowed us to deploy the email monitoring in this couple of weeks."

"It is easy to set up drag-and-drop features to configure workflows.""With the robotics and management of Orchestrator, we are able to kick things off. We are starting to get more out of the scheduling of these and into more on demand triggered events, such as a RESTful service calls and things of that nature.""It is easy to manage the robotics environment with Orchestrator, including scheduling and reporting.""It's a complete ecosystem. It has everything you need.""Document Understanding and Action Center have added significant value to UiPath, especially for the IDP process.""We see time savings for our users in the sense that they now can do more tasks that should have been done all along but weren't getting done. That's more where the gains have been this far.""I have no issues with stability. UiPath improves how our infrastructure works and how stable everything is.""UiPath allows people to do more value-added work. I found that we were able to take a person well versed in access programming and convert them to be an RPA developer with relative ease."

Cons
"The trigger actions need to be more robust.""Has limited functionality and uses extensive resources.""Currently, there are not many documents available on Google that explain each activity and how to use it or how to use the parameters and pass values.""A couple of times, we noticed that some bugs caused the bot to go in the wrong flow.""The solution is heavily dependant on scripts, such as JavaScript or any other external script that needs to be a part of the system. If they want to grow, the scripting dependency should go away. They should have built-in libraries to pull in work from.""I would like to see the cognitive marketing platform improved.""The first pain point of INTELLIBOT was with the development. Whenever the company developed any command, they published it directly onto their SQL site, and our current automation got auto-updated. The second pain point was with the action set. It could be stronger. Moreover, if I am doing UiPath automation, I have to do it with the Internal Report for now."

More INTELLIBOT Cons →

"I would like to see them integrate with generative AI like ChatGPT.""I'm a developer and I'll move things around and they'll change order, or I'll try to save something and it won't save the first time. I'll have to open something twice, open something three times. I've got a list. I'm working out quirks with UiPath.""Sometimes it takes time to provide results.""Some of the licenses, such as for Document Understanding, are a little bit expensive, and we hope that they will reduce the prices over time. Apart from this, I don't have anything to improve.""Many of the features that UiPath has are good, although better documentation is required for them.""You can't write small snippets of code. If you want to do a single code snippet, this is not available by default.""There are instances when the introduction of new features or concepts can be a bit overwhelming for users.""They can improve integration with other types of systems by giving us more connectors. That would mean UiPath would work natively with more applications. With that done, they will have built a fantastic solution."

  • "It costs much less and it does much more than the competitors' solutions."
  • "The pricing differs on the requirements. If there is a huge purchase, then we get a discount. There is not a fixed pricing of the product."
  • "If you want to do a demo trial, it is a 30 days free."
  • "The community edition is completely free. Then, people say, "There is nothing to lose, let me try it.""
  • "There are operational benefits in terms of time savings and user satisfaction of not having to do menial, repetitive tasks."
  • "Traditionally, Automation Anywhere and Blue Prism are the biggest things competing against UiPath. Those are usually what most of the clients lean towards, if they see a cheaper licensing option. Clients choose UiPath because it's easier to deploy and learn within their teams."
  • "We saw ROI in 15 days."
  • "They give it away in the community edition for free, so I use it at home."
