We performed a comparison between Tungsten RPA and UiPath based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."Provides valuable tools working in integration with RPA tools."
"The product saves time and resources."
"The best part of Kofax is that they have a whole concept. It's one product, but also has extra elements that can be integrated."
"The most valuable feature is the robotic process."
"The drag and drop functionality is quite good."
"The flexibility to use already-developed components is really good. You can use it for Excel-related operations and other things."
"The OCR was quite stable and flexible."
"The features that we have found the most valuable are the integration of different third-party support and productivity services."
"Look into the data web scraping. I don't think another tool has that feature and we use it a lot. Data web scraping was probably the bonus of why we went with UiPath."
"The training available in UiPath is really awesome and the material makes you automation-ready so that one can work on real-time projects."
"The democratization, automation, and attended automation, all of these are pretty good features. Those are all good value add to what it was there previously."
"The user interface is simple and allows people to learn from it faster than other applications."
"We like the ability to capture some of the features on a screen for the application. We also really like the UI, and the design is pretty good."
"The platform is object-orientated. You can create and reuse objects, which is a great feature."
"UiPath is good for data scraping and extracting information from websites."
"It has a simple user interface."
"Its documentation is not widely available on the web. They should work on the availability of its documentation. In Automation Anywhere, there is a feature called Discovery Bot that automatically records the process steps and suggests a possible bot. I am not sure if such a feature is available in Kofax. If it is not available, it will be very good to have this feature. "
"Kofax RPA could improve web-based automation and there should be a choice of what browser we can use, such as Google Chrome, instead of an inbuilt browser from Kofax RPA. Additionally, Kofax RPA is missing an orchestrator that other solutions have, such as UiPath."
"RPA technology is constantly changing, and sometimes Kofax lags behind."
"The scalability has room for improvement."
"It needs a free training portal for anybody on the internet to use so that they can get an idea of what the possibilities are."
"Automation with the latest websites is not effective. The support of newer websites developed using new technologies would improve this solution."
"The product needs more AI capabilities."
"There is really nothing special about the capabilities of this product."
"UiPath's performance could be improved. UiPath's framework was built on top of .NET Core. It was a 32-bit platform initially, but they recently introduced a 64-bit version. Let's say I have a huge machine with 64 gigs of RAM. If I have a server machine and want to use multi-threading to extend my automation and multitask, the design won't allow me. I can't separate things into multiple processes."
"Orchestrator needs an overhaul. They have added so many functions that it is sometimes quite hard to find the right settings."
"The solution is expensive."
"Sometimes in their partner communication, they aren't consistent. This maybe is related to the fact they are growing as a company."
"Studio... only works on Windows. It doesn't work on other platforms. I'm a techie by background. I don't hate Windows but I don't love it. It comes with the limitation that it is completely dependent on Windows. I would have loved if it were available on Mac or Linux or Unix."
"On the development side, more documentation on how to structure the setup for different environments would be helpful."
"Creating a trigger that is based on either the arrival of a file or the arrival of an email is a common scenario and it should be built into the platform so that I don't have to code for it every time."
"AI and ML need further improvements to reach mature status."
