"Cognito speeds up our development and saves us time."
"The most valuable features of Amazon Cognito are OTP validation and email validation."
"One of the key benefits of this software is its ease of integration with a wide range of applications, including mobile apps and web applications. This simplifies the process of integration, and it can be seamlessly incorporated with Azure, Kubernetes, and other software systems."
"They offer a permission tool to help us manage multi-factor authentication."
"This is a scalable solution. If our app or general usage increases, this solution can support it."
"The most valuable features of Amazon Cognito are the pre and post-token generation, and the different Cognito triggers. It has lots of functionality and flexibility."
"The federation is one of the most efficient features as the pricing is competitive."
"It is flexible and easy to install."
"A solution that's easy to use, stable, and reliable."
"Its integration components are most valuable. It integrates with everything in some way. There are some products, such as O365 or AD, with which it completely and 100% integrates. So, you can seamlessly create accounts across the board with some of these products. For some of the products with which it doesn't completely integrate, you can do some kind of interfacing."
"It's easy to use and straightforward."
"This solution has a lot of capabilities and features."
"Workforce Identity's best features include its user-friendliness and easy setup."
"I am able to authenticate my users on cloud and SaaS applications such as Workday through Okta workflows."
"It offers very helpful support. The technical team is very helpful."
"You need to evaluate the export users. The multifactor authentication, much less this room for improving the configuration setup of that."
"In a future release, we would like to have different methods to validate the characteristic of a user. For example, we would like to use biometric data to analyze the behavior of users."
"The ease and simplicity of integration could be improved when using this solution. When using Okta, scope is a single endpoint with a parameter as a scope. In the Cognito for each scope, there is a separate endpoint."
"What I found generally lacking in AWS is privileged access management (PAM)."
"The MFA related to the solution's side is nonexistent."
"Amazon Cognito’s UI needs improvement while onboarding new users."
"I believe this product could improve by enriching user profiles."
"Cognito triggers can improve by providing more direct use cases rather than giving a white paper. A white paper is not at all interesting, it has too many details. It would be a benefit to provide a smaller document that is summarized. The smaller version would bring microdata, macro data is not helpful."
"Okta doesn't have a partial push. It pushes down the full profile schema for lifecycle management or provisioning."
"The solution's user interface needs to be improved and made easy."
"On the admin side, we can create our own passwords instead of generating one, which is usually difficult to explain to a user."
"Support could be a bit faster."
"This user integration with the Okta integration network could be simplified."
"It's not compatible with on-premises installations, unless you host it as a SaaS. We were not able to do that. For example, imagine a scenario where the cloud is not available. Then, Okta will not work for you. That use case will readily fail because it doesn't have an on-premises installation that you can use to authenticate or provide identity and access management. If you have a purely on-premises solution that is not connected to the internet, then this will not work. This is one area that can be improved."
"They also have single sign-on (SSO). When we bought Okta Workforce Identity a year and a half ago, I was also looking at SSO, but not much documentation was available for SSO. The documentation for SSO should be a little more robust for somebody who is implementing it for the first time."
"The product is expensive compared to other tools."
