Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"This is one of the best tools, especially because of its collaborative nature. Anyone using it can access previous projects and related data. It's definitely a strong collaborative tool.""The feature I find most valuable is that the start times and loading times are short. It takes only a few seconds to load the repository and whenever I want to open diagrams, they are there almost immediately.""The most valuable features of BiZZdesign HoriZZon, from my experience, include its out-of-the-box connectors, such as integration with ServiceNow, Excel, and SQL databases, making data repository management more efficient.""It is very easy to use. I can just click on an application component and find out if we are using this particular component. This provides us flexibility.""I like the flexibility of the modeling part for standards like ArchiMate and, at the same time, BPMN. It allows us to connect elements from different areas and to have a single repository and a single source of truth. It gives us one place to do analysis throughout the organization.""The enterprise studio where the modelling happens is valuable.""t's a good tool. My colleagues that are making use of it for application, business processes, or data modeling, are very satisfied with it. They find it easy to use. The graphical representation is simple but therefore efficient, so I know that they are planning a very good commencement on the use of these tools.""The powerful editing function in teamwork project-based, common or shared modeling, based on a powerful repository and knowledge sharing in a portal are the most valuable features. These are the most important features for me. I can add the integration of individual modeling notations like Archimate plus BPMN and DMN, and so on. We travel from one location to another and the tool allows us to keep track."

"The fact that the repository is available on the web is the most valuable feature. It's a very simple tool. If you can use something simple and visual, you should be able to use the model as well in Signavio. It has the ability, for example, to track versioning control, so if you make updates to the processes, you have the ability to track the versions as well.""I have done a lot of modeling over quite a number of years, and I think that the modeling capabilities in Signavio are state of the art.""The Signavio tool is very easy to use and it is one of the reasons why I like it.""The product's most valuable feature is the transformation process.""The interface is very intuitive and includes a drag-and-drop function.""I use SAP Signavio Process Manager to model processes to the former operating model.""When comparing my experience with Celonis and Signavio, I can discern the distinctions between these two platforms. However, I'm unable to differentiate between ARAs and add-ons, as that falls outside my scope of familiarity. Regarding Celonis, it comes with its set of advantages and disadvantages. Notably, it boasts robust features like action flows, task mining, and seamless integration with AML programming. Conversely, Signavio lacks action flows and instead relies on action segments and tasks for interaction. This discrepancy is a significant factor setting Selenium and SecureView apart. In the context of Signavio, it offers a combination of BPMN and process discovery, a feature absent in Celonis. This tandem of BPMN and process insight contributes to Signavio’S potency. Meanwhile, Celonis primarily features the process miner tool, setting it apart from Signavio. These variations collectively outline the numerous differences existing between Celonis and Signavio.""It is highly user-friendly and easy to use, even for those who are not familiar with product modeling."

Cons
"One area where BiZZdesign HoriZZon could use some improvement is in its REST APIs.""It lacks capabilities with regard to infrastructure modeling.""I have seen table charts where, if the chart is a little too big, it does not fit in HoriZZon and it is not at all visible... There have been several times where we could not publish a chart properly and we had to break the chart into small tables and create multiple artifacts, creating a complete mess. This should be seriously taken up by BiZZdesign because there is a lot of scope for improvement in terms of usability. It's not at all good, unfortunately.""We tested it, and we had support from BiZZdesign, including patches, but it just didn't do what we wanted.""The automatic data collection and interface need improvement.""There could be simpler modelling.""The repository of duplicate objects is bad.""There is room for improvement in making it more seamless between the modeling and the analysis pieces. Sometimes you have to do some work in the backend to ensure that the HoriZZon portal really gets all of the information the way you want it. They are working on the seamlessness between what they call Enterprise Studio and HoriZZon."

More BiZZdesign HoriZZon Cons →

"There is a need for more varied access packages. The access packages that I have used are not cheap enough. They also provide a complete set of tools that are not always used. Sometimes, you need more segregated things, e.g., Signavio includes functionality for a company that has not yet matured. Since there are no basic packages, the company must pay for a package that is not fully used. Typically, process management is started in a company of a certain maturity.""I would like to be able to include images in the documentation.""Its reporting feature could have customization options.""SAP Signavio Process Manager needs better automatic rendering of data.""I would like to see more predictive analytics. The tool already has all the process maps, but it could offer a more proactive improvement offering. For example, they could put a little bit more machine learning behind it.""It's very user-orientated, which is why I gave it a high rating, even if it is not perfect in every corner.""I would like to have the option to select the color of items and subgroups in the glossary because right now it is fixed.""The user administration, the user-group administration, and the license models need improvement."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "[The] Orbus... pricing model was based on every single functionality having a price. The pricing was comparable but if we wanted to scale, it would have ended up being a lot more expensive. BiZZdesign gave us one price with all of the functionality, and we could scale as much as we needed."
  • "I haven't found any issues with the scalability and licensing parts that are access-related."
  • "First and foremost within the scope of improvement for the solution would be the cost. It's very costly..."
  • "The pricing model is slightly on the high side and could be more competitive for long-term partnerships."
  • "The price is reasonable."
  • "In terms of this particular product usage, my clients currently only use per-user licenses."

  • "Lower than the competition with highly flexible licensing plans."
  • "My client purchased one editor license and the collaboration hub, which covers up to a hundred people."
  • "I think that the price of the licenses is between $2,000 USD and $3,000 USD per license per year, plus the hub usage. I cannot remember the exact cost, but it is affordable."
  • "I think we're spending about $150,000 a year on licensing costs."
  • "SaaS has no setup cost, just licensing fees."
  • "This solution provides really great value for the money."
  • "We are only able to use the free academic licenses because we have a financial constraint. We are not able to pay for commercial licenses to use this kind of tool."
  • "Although Signavio is a feature-rich solution, it is expensive for companies who haven’t reached a certain maturity level in their process management initiatives."
