We performed a comparison between ABBYY Vantage and IQ Bot based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The solution responds well to automatic document classifications with a 90% success rate."
"The ability to extract and insert data, then structuralize it into the actionable format, would be the most valuable."
"The UI is user-friendly and ABBYY Vantage supports over 100 languages."
"ABBYY Vantage has reduced our data because it can classify and extract information from documents."
"It's a very useful and user-friendly product."
"Time-saving with increased levels of accuracy."
"Abbyy is really good in terms of reading OCR."
"Its OCR Engine is very successful, and it is the leading OCR Engine. It also has NLP support."
"IQ Bot's most valuable feature is data migration, including Word format and legacy document templates."
"The ease that it provides in extracting vendor invoices, without having to configure them, was the reason for which we had gone with a solution."
"The product is easy to use and easy to deploy."
"I personally feel that the c-extraction feature is valuable. After training it for a particular document, we can see the extractions there. Other than that, it has other features like Python scripting in-built, and these are the features that I feel stand out."
"The most valuable feature is the ease of use and the new feature that makes it possible to integrate the platform with Google."
"The single platform capabilities are most valuable. I don't need to go to another third-party such as Blue Prism or UiPath. They have all these other bolt-on solutions. It is a part of the Automation Anywhere platform. It is all integrated."
"PDF classification and basic data extraction are useful features."
"The most valuable feature is the cognitive, self-learning component that understands the undefined templates."
"They can have more advanced workflows. They can have some custom status in their workflow. It was there, but they can introduce more cases such as triggering an email or interacting with other systems with APIs. They can be included as stages in their workflow rather than doing it all by scripting."
"Could be simplified, particularly the UI."
"They say that they have invoice training or document training where if you put in a certain number of documents of the same type and you fix it once, twice, or a few times, it'll automatically be able to read the same document perfectly without you having to create a layout for it to follow. That has never worked properly for any project, so I just stopped recommending it completely. We spent time trying to test and getting a bunch of invoices to test it with, and in the end, it just didn't do what it needed to. If they fix that or if they can improve on that, that would be great. It will save a lot of time for a lot of people, and it will allow people with less experience with ABBYY to be able to use it."
"They should improve the RESTful API side of this solution. Currently, fully RESTful API is not available in the on-prem version, which is really a problem, and we have to work around this limitation. The cloud version already has a fully RESTful API, but the on-prem version doesn't have a fully RESTful API, which is a big mistake. It is easy to solve, but they aren't solving it quicker. They are taking a long time. Nowadays, most people don't go to the interface. They like to use RESTful API."
"It would be good if the product provided an AI-based prebuilt model that predicts and gives output."
"ABBYY's support model could be improved because we get some complaints from customers regarding the amount of time it takes and the kind of responses we get. They also need to improve their professional services team and train them to support customers better during custom implementations."
"ABBYY Vantage is a product that does not include the Arabic language."
"One major area that requires improvement in ABBYY Vantage is its current JSON output format."
"Product algorithms could be improved."
"It's not intuitive from a user standpoint."
"When you update to a new version, you have to migrate your applications. That should be automated because it should not affect your ability to complete the task. If the version of the application changes, then you need to automate some part of that again."
"The solution could improve by having more domain-specific templates, such as for documents other than invoices or contracts. For example, having templates for IDs or Passports."
"It was challenging to have to do the pre-processing and tax inputting on our own."
"Could improve with regard to hand-written documents."
"The price of IQ Bot, packaged with Automation Anywhere, is too expensive for some companies and they will not use it."
"The quality of the service needs to be improved."
