We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Performance and scalability are valuable features.""We can work remotely using the solution.""They maintain it and manage it very well.""The experience is seamless and there is no delay. The performance is very good. Initial startup times is a little bit of wait time, but it is bearable.""The best thing about Amazon WorkSpaces is the security it provides.""The product is easy to access. You can access the solution from anywhere at any time.""The best feature is that it operates very quickly. It depends on the regional location. If we choose a nearby location, nearby servers, it will be best for users to use.""The most valuable features are easy provisioning, an active directory, and mobile access."

"The solution provides everything in one integrated platform. When it comes to monitoring their solution, it is really easy. We have all the information in one place so we can have the right information at the right moment. We can be proactive when it comes to dealing with performance, maintenance, and security issues.""The most valuable feature is the gateway to a remote connection, to a physical or a virtual PC. Compared to a normal VPN client and connection, the connection via Citrix is more stable and does not consume as much network bandwidth.""The initial setup is easy.""The most valuable feature of the solution is that it supports team clients.""It provides all of the features required for the protection of data. For example, we don't want to allow any copy/paste of data to an outside environment, and we are able to restrict the VDI to not allow any data transfer from the VDI to the local laptop's hard drives. That is one of the greatest advantages the solution provides.""The app protection feature is one of the most valuable because it provides good security, as nobody is going to be able to look into your screen while you are sharing the screen. And if someone has installed a keylogger in your system, your keystrokes will be jumbled up and they would not make any sense to the keylogger. App protection is one of the coolest security features that I have encountered on any platform.""The tool helps me to connect with some apps of our company and resolve the tickets.""The shadow feature is extraordinary and helps a lot when supporting remote users."

Cons
"Making it more self-service friendly would be the implement I'd be looking for. When we have to add new applications, we have to go through the IT to do that, and they need to do some configuration changes. I believe they have to reevaluate the computation and storage and the memory. So this is this is something that as an unrequired and should be changed. Also, the initial start time takes couple of minutes and it is easy for get distracted during the time. So if it can reduce the start time to a reasonable start of time to a reasonable time of five to ten seconds. That will be great.""One area that can be improved is the ability to install third-party apps.""Its features for the hardware version could work faster.""Amazon WorkSpaces needs to improve on releasing the most number of patches immediately as quickly as possible. And they need to enable more USB options to connect a mobile phone to that particular workspace.""The product needs to improve its pricing. It should also improve corporate identity management and single sign-on.""The speed and performance are not always the greatest. It can be improved.""You cannot install external applications without doing some additional configurations inside the solution as opposed to your normal desktop or laptop.""I would say that it is a little complex to configure."

"The monitoring and management is in need of improvement.""Scalability depends on the server and the number of users in the organization.""Direct connection of USB devices on the terminals to be used by streamed applications is very important for printing and the usage of token authentication, but the current version does not support this one hundred percent.""Pricing and technical support needs improvement.""The only thing we have found to be detrimental is when we have tried to find training. I realize that we're looking at it at the worst time possible, with a pandemic going on, but it seems that most of the training offered is learn-by-yourself online.""There are a lot of shortfalls with supporting printing over XenApp.""Citrix has to support all of the hypervisors including KVM and OpenStack KVM.""I think improvement around the Analytics piece is super important. There has been a lot of maturity over the last year in that area, though a lot more needs to be done. Also, a lot more of the value of those Analytics needs to be sold to end users. Citrix is working on a lot of things that are ahead of the curve and a lot of organizations aren't quite there yet with implementing those technologies and capabilities."
