"Google is always on its own. Google Cloud Identity is pretty good on every point.""The solution is user-friendly.""It is a stable solution. Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.""It's easy to set up.""Google Cloud Identity uses what they call organizational units (OUs) instead of the security groups you'd find in Microsoft's Entra.""The most valuable feature of Google Cloud Identity is group access. You are able to assign policies to groups instead of users individually.""The Cloud Identity is well advanced in terms of features, applications, and the components that it is offering.""The tool provides a free service that you can integrate for laptop authentication. You also don’t need a separate Active Directory."

"The most valuable feature is the security policies.""The most valuable feature of this solution is the tracking of the devices.""You can upgrade and migrate the existing group policies that we use for VMware Workspace ONE for the active directory. We can push the policies and group policies. We can migrate it and manage it from VMware Workspace ONE.""Its UI is extremely easy to use whether you're an advanced user or a novice user. When I first opened it up and had to learn the product, I was easily a novice. By the end of the third month, I was digging into the backend of the system and using it as a highly advanced user to accomplish what I needed to accomplish, and I was able to do it through the UI mostly.""It seems highly stable and scalable.""The solution's single plane of glass approach is beneficial. The endpoint management is very good and specific. Cons
"Microsoft Intune fails a lot when it comes to device compliance.""I have a lot of Apple products in my environment. It would be nice to have an improved integration of Apple products with Microsoft Intune without Jam.""They can improve their MAM policies a little bit more and make them more granular. They should include more granular group policies. They are there, but they need to be more granular. Its stability should also be improved. It is not very stable. Sometimes, it shows some inconsistencies across tenants.""Enhancements for managing MacOS more comprehensively would be beneficial.""I think that there is room for improvement with the reporting. If this is done, it will be a better product.""It would be great if Intune offered better data protection controls for BYOD Windows PCs.""The biggest problem we ever have is when something goes out of date after 30 days when nobody has logged into it. We do have a problem trying to get those back online. We've been working with Microsoft to resolve that problem, but that's been the only issue that we've had in the last few years.""There are a couple of issues with stability."

More Microsoft Intune Cons →

"If I were to suggest enhancements, it would mainly revolve around ensuring compatibility and maximizing integration options with various services.""Google Cloud Identify could make the technology used easier to understand as a layman making it more user-friendly.""I would like to see more integration in future releases.""Technical support is slow.""The pricing for this solution is a little bit higher than AWS and others, which is something that should be improved.""The management of external users needs to be introduced in the tool as it is an area of concern in the tool presently.""The customer service and support team is not so good.""We cannot manage the attributes of SSPR."

More Google Cloud Identity Cons →

"I would like to see more service notifications.""Setup is not too complex.""From an improvement perspective, there is a need for discounts to be offered by the solution since it is something that any organization can expect from the product.""The initial setup should be simplified.""When it comes to deployment and maintaining security, there should be an integrated console where you have a singular view of all of the products from the same OEM.""Pricing is a limitation. I think it's on the higher side, so if it were cheaper, it would benefit more organizations.""The technical support could be improved.""They could provide DLP integration for applications and specific user account security."

    Reviews from Real Users

Microsoft Intune stands out among its competitors for a number of reasons. Two major ones are its ability to secure all devices under its management and the flexibility that the solution offers its users.

A computing services manager notes, "Its security is most valuable. It gives us a way to secure devices, not only those that are steady. We do have a few tablets and other devices, and it is a way for us to secure these devices and manage them. We know they're out there and what's their status. We can manage their life cycle and verify that they're updated properly."

The head of IT engineering at a financial services company writes, "The one feature we find most useful is the Mobile Application Manager. There are two types: we have the complete MDM and the Mobile Application Manager (MAM). We don't give our users phones, it is their own personal phone, and we need to allow them to have access to the company details on their phone. We need to create a balance between their own personal data and the company data. We deploy the Mobile Application Manager for them so that we won't be able to interfere with their own personal data."

Cloud Identity is an Identity as a Service (IDaaS) and enterprise mobility management (EMM) product. It offers the identity services and endpoint administration that are available in G Suite as a stand-alone product. As an administrator, you can use Cloud Identity to manage your users, apps, and devices from a central location - the Google Admin console.

VMware Workspace ONE is an intelligence-driven digital workspace platform that delivers any app on any device. It integrates access control, multi-platform endpoint management, and application management. With the VMware Workspace ONE platform, IT teams can deliver a digital workspace that includes the devices and apps of the company’s choice, but with security and control.

    Reviews from Real Users

Below is some feedback from our PeerSpot users who are currently using the solution:

PeerSpot user Patrick B., Cybersecurity Architect at a tech services company, says, "Its UI is extremely easy to use whether you're an advanced user or a novice user. When I first opened it up and had to learn the product, I was easily a novice. By the end of the third month, I was digging into the backend of the system and using it as a highly advanced user to accomplish what I needed to accomplish, and I was able to do it through the UI mostly."

Roshan T., Partner Manager North America at a tech company, mentions how satisfied he is with the product, saying, "You can put all your applications on a mobile device, be it a phone or tablet. It is secure and easy to use. Because it is centrally managed, you don't have to do any configuration on the phone. I just got the phone and connected to the central applications. I just downloaded one thing and everything got rolled out. Email, calendar, and other things were deployed centrally. If you don't have AirWatch, you have to configure your phone manually. For example, you need to deploy and configure your email manually and then synchronize everything. It is much simpler when a mobile device is centrally managed."
