Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"GoToMeeting's low latency is crucial because everybody is using VPN to connect to their PCs at work. The sound and video quality are solid, and the whiteboarding features were especially useful. The administrative side of it was fairly simple and intuitive to use.""Pricing is reasonable. It's not expensive. The pricing is one of the great selling points for the product.""I like GoToMeeting because it is lighter than other solutions, such as Webex.""There is no lagging and the meeting interaction is seamless.""The most important feature for me was the iPhone app.""We don't have any link issues whether you use it to browser, or use it as a client. It worked perfectly fine for us.""The key advantage of GoToMeeting is the ability to use it without installing anything.""I think all the features are very useful, especially the rooms features and we present with screen sharing. Instead of organizing conferences, we are able to do that online. This has been saving us from spending on travel. From the beginning of this year, because of GoToMeeting, I have canceled I think three or four business trips."

"File sharing is the most valuable feature.""The most valuable feature for us was instant messaging.""We like it because it makes it easy to communicate, chat, make video calls, and schedule meetings with people.""The integration of online jobs and documents is one of the most valuable aspects of the solution. The ability to integrate tasks and to assign tasks to certain people is great.""The solution's most valuable feature is connecting calls to concerned people anytime. It works much faster.""The initial setup was okay.""I think it has helped me organize my day-to-day activities. It has also helped me to align with the schedule of my colleagues and other partners because there's a feature where we can see the schedule of other Team members.""The product enables us to create teams for specific projects."

Cons
"The solution could scale a bit easier if you need to add more people to meetings.""Lacks ease of connectivity, calendar integrations, and third-party app integrations.""Using GoToMeeting in a meeting-sized conference room is kind of a letdown. The camera is supposed to track the speaker and focus on that person so that they can be on the screen. That feature rarely worked. We tested it thoroughly, so maybe it was an issue with the size of the conference room. It may not be suitable for large conference rooms.""I don't know whether it is an issue or not but my boss was asking me if person one is in one room, and another person wanted to use another room at the same time, I don't know whether it is possible.""Poor error recovery, too sensitive to transmission errors. Needs better codecs and more robust system software that can handle network glitches.""I didn't like the fact that they tried to make their new version look like Zoom.""We would like some improvement in the speed of initiating this solution, as it is currently fairly slow.""I would like to see better support for mobile devices."

More GoToMeeting Cons →

"Microsoft Teams' current features are not user-friendly, making it difficult for end-users to locate and understand them. There have also been issues with crashes, which is a concern in the current scenario.""The solution should offer a way for people to virtually raise their hands in a meeting so that everyone can speak. There's a user voice for this already, but it would help if there was some sort of visual cue as well.""The main issue is that the link goes down when there are internet issues.""After six months of working with it, I still find the UI a little clunky when it comes to sharing content and moving around between features like the calendar and files.""The product should improve its pricing.""Teams doesn't always sync to show as Do Not Disturb during Outlook meetings.""I would like to see more customization options in the product such as more integration with other tools.""They should include AI features in the solution."
