Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"All the necessary features required to set up a proper backup are already present in Acronis Backup.""Acronis Backup is valuable if your data is affected by ransomware, you are able to get it back.""The image backup and image restore features have been very beneficial to us.""I like Acronis Cyber Protect's backup process and its management console is intuitive.""The administration is pretty flexible in terms of defining a multi-tenant type of setup.""Consistency and reliability. The interface is easy to understand and consistent across applications. While not 100%, it is a very reliable backup solution.""It works with different types of partitions or different OSs.""Acronis Backup is easy to use."

"I found the cost-effectiveness of Druva Phoenix to be its most valuable feature, especially when compared to on-premises backup solutions.""The most valuable features of Druva Phoenix are the simple portal to log in and flexibility.""Once you set it up and you tell it exactly what needs to be backed up, you literally forget about it. It sends you emails and notifications of the current status of the jobs.""Druva Phoenix is easy to use and easy to start with.""I would definitively say that we have been able to make our people more productive by at least 30%."

Cons
"The tool's dashboard for daily operations is useful, but I find that it could benefit from enhancements, particularly in terms of reporting. While exporting reports, the format is not fancy as it appears on the dashboard. The exported files are typically in Excel CSV or PDF format.""In the span of six months, maintenance is done at least twice and you are told that it is coming up, with apologies for the inconvenience. It's a distraction, and it interferes with the backup schedule.""They can include something called a backup appliance. Although Acronis is a software-driven company, it would be good for customers to have some kind of backup appliance on top of a lightweight operating system. This will also reduce the cost. Currently, the customers have to buy the hardware in addition to the operating system, which increases the overhead in terms of procurement.""The pricing could be improved.""The licensing approach becomes intricate when dealing with SharePoint.""I've had some issues with the understandability of the interface. I think if they had someone with expertise in user interfaces to look at this, they could clean up the user interface.""There are a lot of products out there that are a little bit stronger than Acronis where AV is concerned.""There are times when the backups are slow. A faster backup would be better."

"Druva Phoenix should include a few reporting features that it doesn't provide currently.""There is room for improvement in the reporting aspect of Druva Phoenix.""Druva Phoenix is optimized to work with x86 platforms, making it unsuitable for backing up non-x86 architectures like AIX. The solution is primarily designed for physical Linux and Windows systems based on the x86 architecture, as well as virtualized Windows and Linux environments. However, if you have an AIX system, it cannot be deployed in the cloud, and therefore, backing it up in the cloud is not a concern.""They were able to give us a very reasonable price considering we were non-for-profit organizations, however, there is always room for improvement on that cost."
