We performed a comparison between Automation Anywhere (AA) and Visual Studio Test Professional based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."Before switching to the cloud version of Automation Anywhere, I worked with v10 and v10, so I appreciate the core functionality and the fact that it's a low-code solution. That is one of the key elements that differentiates Automation Anywhere from other platforms and one of the reasons we have been able to achieve success."
"The features that help us satisfy the needs of the customer to overcome mundane activities using task bots and meta bots are the most valuable along with the rich controls in the control room. The developer team is able to capture all the necessary steps without much hassle with the visual designer and the ability to test each step of automation has helped in delivering error-free automation to our customer."
"One of the features that we have used the most is an action in the Workbench called Object Cloning. We find that very reliable and very useful for implementing different business processes."
"The scalability is good."
"The development of the company from Automation Anywhere V11 to a2019 was valuable. I found many important and new features, like changing the way we write code and programming. It became much easier and very flexible in version 2019A. It became very easy to use and the recording was also good. Excel became very good too."
"The feature we found to be the most valuable is the documentation automation as it allows us to focus on the actual important piece of building automation instead of tracking some of the repugnant documentation that goes along with building automation."
"The automation of data entry is the most valuable feature for us."
"This solution has gives us greater employee satisfaction because manual recurring work has been reduced."
"Visual Studio Test Professional is a user-friendly solution."
"User-friendly ID and direct integration with GitHub are the most valuable."
"It is very easy to use. You can handle a lot of things together at once in one package, which is a good point for us."
"Visual Studio Test Pro is super helpful for my Microsoft app work."
"One of the best documentation in the world."
"What I like most about Visual Studio Test Professional is the way people publish templates and publish integration."
"The tool is flexible and easy to manage. We use it since it is scalable and easy to use. It integrates with solutions."
"Customization is the most powerful feature of this product."
"The dashboard has room for improvement."
"The improvements that we could see would be the increased stability of each A2019 releases and reduce the likely impact on existing features. We are also looking to see improvements in the upgrade and bot deployment processes to make them easier and less interaction with back end servers."
"The object cloning that exists cannot capture 80 percent of the objects that we need it to capture."
"On the cognitive side, some of their competitors, when we were originally shopping, were a little more advanced in that space. Making use of probabilistic outcomes and presenting them to a business user is a feature that, at the time of our evaluation, did not feel like a strong, mature solution for Automation Anywhere. Nevertheless, they won our business. That is one feature where I feel they are trying to make investments to address those gaps."
"Although, IQ Bot has data being extracted from it. It can improve with more features, like handwritten copies that are readable."
"I would like to see a bot button."
"I am looking into IQ Bot, but I wanted more out of it. I am dealing with a lot of scanned documents. I want to see if Automation Anywhere can scan client emails for us because our clients send emails with some incidents and issues. We want to see how automation can automatically do the processing and create some structured data or automate bots to get work done."
"My experience has been that if the person who codes the bot is not very well-trained, then they might create unstable bots. So, it's not the platform. It is just how somebody has coded the bots which can bring lot of instability to them. I recommend that when you are using a coder that the person well-trained and have a good amount of experience already working on bots. They shouldn't be newbie or beginner who comes in to code because that will impact the quality of the code itself."
"The solution's deployment is not very easy and should be made easier."
"The solution is quite expensive."
"One of the problems with this solution is you need to be highly technically skilled to operate it, it is not for everyone."
"Visual Studio Test Professional needs to improve its stability."
"The server that we use is very slow so that is concerning for us."
"I would like to see more integration in the solution."
"The service right now is far too expensive. You need to pay per user."
"Enhancing the support for web application testing and load performance would be an improvement."
