We performed a comparison between Avast Business Hub and Bitdefender GravityZone EDR based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out what your peers are saying about Cisco, Zscaler, Forcepoint and others in Internet Security."It has increased productivity. IT threats are kept at a minimum because of this product."
"Avast Business Endpoint Protection's best feature is its user-friendliness."
"Our favorite feature is the PC Patch Management."
"The solution is easy to use."
"It's not heavy on the system."
"Avast as a product is as easy as it gets - everything is outlined and transparent in terms of licensing."
"The performance is good compared to other products that slow down the laptop, post-installation."
"The solution can scale well."
"The most valuable feature for me is the ability to whitelist, blacklist, and be very granular as to what I blocked, what apps I blocked, and what websites I block. I think that's probably the most valuable feature."
"It efficiently investigates security incidents."
"The tool alerts about lateral internet movements."
"The most valuable feature of the solution is that it is easy to use and simple, meaning it's not much complicated."
"Bitdefender GravityZone EDR's installation is straightforward."
"You can analyze any incident or malicious behavior. You can take action from within the EDR, and it can assist you in understanding how the attack was initiated or any malicious behavior in your environment."
"It's a very stable solution."
"It is stable."
"Avast Business Endpoint Protection would be improved with more frequent updates."
"It should have proper and timely updates to deal with new viruses as they come onto the market."
"It could have a 10,000-feet overview of the whole infrastructure because the software is easily installable on the whole infrastructure and not just the infrastructure, but also the workstation themselves. I would love to have a 360 view of the whole network and basically see from where a test is coming, and if there is an instance in the cloud that is actually misbehaving or if there is a workstation that is infected and stuff like that. It can also have some kind of AI to detect all those things and then cut off the connection from that machine. In Cortex, you can link the logs, reports, and all that stuff. You can also see the full picture of when it happened, and you can trace it back all the way to a file or something else. I would like to see similar functionality in Avast Business Endpoint Protection."
"Where I have faced a challenge is on the reporting. I would like to see something that provides information regarding the next month or quarter, in terms of reporting."
"The accuracy of the scanner could be improved."
"The solution needs to be more secure and work to protect us better from people trying to mess with our systems."
"Making the price a bit cheaper would be an improvement."
"It reduces network and bandwidth speed."
"I have not had used the EDR portion of the solution to do any custom scripting to allow further advanced operations on the endpoints. From what I understand from reading the comments on reviews is that it is not particularly flexible in this regard."
"Areas for improvement would be performance and pricing."
"I would like to see the capability for remote installation added, in particular for servers."
"The areas of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Extended Detection and Response (XDR) could benefit from improvement in terms of how problems are reported and displayed. The way the problems are presented and the information provided could be improved."
"They need to improve their encryption capabilities."
"They should include the Hebrew language for its technical support in terms of communication."
"The software itself is solid. It would be better if it was more of a real-time solution, like SentinelOne. The one thing that holds me back on the SentinelOne side is that I can blacklist websites and stuff like that, but it's not as granular as Bitdefender. With Bitdefender, I feel like I have more control over what I can whitelist and blacklist."
"The main area for improvement is the dashboard of the cloud console, where we manage security policies and groupings. It needs to be more flexible and informative."
