We performed a comparison between Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business and Quest KACE Systems Management based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Endpoint Compliance solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."This product is easy to use."
"The interface is friendly."
"The performance is good. It doesn't use a lot of resources, which is crucial for us."
"The most valuable features of this solution are the firewall, the IPS, and the patch deployment."
"Kaspersky Enterprise solution's combined protections have helped to block a lot of malware which would have caused a lot of interruptions in our operations."
"The signature update is done securely."
"The admin capabilities are great."
"Using dashboards, it is very easy to manage."
"The most valuable feature is the ability to have an overview of all devices that are accessing our environment."
"It also does patch management. At the moment, I'm rolling out a new feature update, 20.8.2, and it's a great challenge because we have to deploy it to 1,200 computers in the home office. We want to do it without interrupting production, but KACE is reliable and it's easy to adapt it to my needs for how and when to deploy the feature update."
"The single pane of glass for managing devices is helpful because it allows me to perform updates and control things without having to disturb the doctors or nurses."
"We can get the majority of what we need with this product and do not have to spend money on something else."
"I am impressed by the service desk ticketing and asset management."
"We have our KACE agent deployed on all of our workstations and servers, and it provides us with reports on the hardware and software inventory for those."
"The scripting is a very valuable feature, as it saves us time on pushing certain things out to the users, such as software and patches."
"We're able to deploy software and push out fixes to endpoints faster than ever."
"The performance level could be better."
"Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business doesn't have a built-in DLP (data loss prevention) solution."
"The company needs to keep developing more security measures to help keep its customers safe. If they could keep adding to security features, it would be ideal."
"I might have the best product in the market. But if it's not properly configured, then I'm losing many of these features. I'm not getting the most out of them. And this is actually one of the biggest challenges that we're facing."
"We would like to see improved performance and faster deployment in the next release."
"The reporting portion of the solution is quite weak."
"I find it to be slow on my end and would like to see that improve. I think the e-learning portal can be updated because it's been disabled due to an upgrade. The data could be updated as well. I also think that pricing could be improved."
"A big improvement would be allowing us to reconfigure the agents and change what to whitelist for a specific user. If the user is not happy with the configuration and is being blocked from certain sites, we should be able to reconfigure the monitoring mechanics to make it more flexible."
"We'd love to see support for larger dependencies in the scripting feature."
"The K1000 doesn't communicate well with some clients without SMB. There are some issues with getting things to image correctly because they rely on SMB, and SMB is a protocol that is being removed due to security reasons. Organizations are trying to rely less and less on SMB. I know Quest is aware of it. They've talked about having a new version that wouldn't rely on SMB for connection to the clients, but they haven't gotten there yet."
"I would like them to implement VBScript language in KACE Systems Management. Currently, we can only use PowerShell."
"I've had some issues with patch catalogue."
"My biggest complaint is that almost every time they send out a new version, it fixes something and breaks another. Something that wasn't working in the last version now works, but something else stops; or they'll remove some dashboard that I really found to be nice and replace it with something totally different that I could care less about."
"Scalability is my primary concern right now."
"What could be improved is the possibility to use replicas in a secure way outside our network in order to maintain the machines that never connect to our corporate network."
"The software asset management functionality is an area that needs to be improved. It could be more automated because when connections need to be made, such as when I connected Adobe and my malware removed, the process was pretty much manual."
