We performed a comparison between Microsoft Azure DevOps and PractiTest based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Suites solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."We can forecast tasks and the number of hours a task will take and can compare it with how long a task actually takes."
"Monitoring is most valuable."
"I like the entire tool because it is a one-stop-solution for DevOps."
"The solution is scalable."
"They have been lately adding features to the services on a regular basis. Every two weeks, they are adding functionality to Azure DevOps Services to match it with what Azure DevOps Server or on-prem would offer. So, we continue to get more robust functionality. My favorite right now is that they are starting to open up the API availability within Azure DevOps Services. Another thing that I like about Azure DevOps is that you can use it with any of the products that are on the market. You can integrate it with Jenkins and other open-source products to complete that fully functional CI, CD, CT, CM, and CS pipeline. It continues to enhance."
"Detailed logs allow us to pinpoint the exact cause of any issues, making troubleshooting efficient and accurate."
"Azure DevOps is complete and meets all of your expectations. You can develop your own plugins to customize it however you want, so it's highly flexible. We develop personalized plugins or use ones that other programmers create for the Azure Marketplace."
"It is possible to add third-party extensions to increase the usability of the product."
"The most valuable feature is the way the libraries are structured so that they were not folder driven."
"We are facing a lot of issues in the development of containerized solutions. We are facing a lot of challenges in this area. They could make the process simpler."
"Azure DevOps could be improved with more security plugins, especially for SaaS scanning and vulnerability scans."
"One potential enhancement in Azure DevOps could be integrating more customizable reporting features, particularly for Power BI integration."
"One thing I would note is that it's hard to know what is included or not in the product. Especially when you begin to try and compare it to other solutions. When you go to a site like VersionOne, they tell you Azure DevOps doesn't have this or that, and when you go to Microsoft, it says VersionOne doesn't have this or that. They could do a better job of laying out exactly what is on offer so customers know going in exactly what they'll get."
"The price could be lowered. It would be nice if it was cheaper."
"The only downside is that the deployment could be a little challenging but it is manageable."
"Project management could be improved."
"The functions have too much dependency right now, so it makes it really, really hard to upgrade and make a change in the code."
"It doesn't allow you to connect to multiple different tracking tools."
