"NGAV and EDR features are outstanding."
"he solution is an anti-malware product that integrates well with other vendor products such as firewalls, SIEM, etc. It captures threat intelligence and gives you better visibility. The product also has sandboxing features."
"Fortinet FortiEDR made our clients feel secure and more at ease, knowing that they had an EDR solution that would close the gap in their security posture."
"The stability is very good."
"Additionally, when it comes to EDR, there are more tools available to assist with client work."
"I like FortiClient EMS. FortiEDR has a lot of great features like lockdown mode, remote wipes, and encryption. I can set malware outbreak policies and controls for detecting abnormalities. You can also simulate phishing attacks."
"This is stable and scalable."
"The setup is pretty simple."
"The anti-virus and firewall policies are the most valuable features of this solution."
"Symantec have everything – documentation, videos, data sheets."
"When they started they found it very easy; not easy to implement but easy to use. We started with the headquarters here and later we also implemented it for all the subsidiaries in the region, in other countries. They have a centralized solution, so they can help other countries in management."
"The solution is completely scalable."
"Great security and very user friendly."
"Offers good antivirus and local firewall."
"Some of the features that were important were a built-in firewall and device control."
"The solution detects malware very well."
"It's easy to use."
"Their malware detection rate is excellent for all type of devices and the anti-theft products are good and easy to use."
"Trellix Security Endpoint can promptly isolate any host machines directly from the console. If alerts are received and isolation is necessary, it can be accomplished through the console. The console itself holds significant value, accessible through a browser and allowing remote actions via cloud login."
"The initial setup is straightforward, not complex."
"One valuable feature is Threat Prevention with the on-demand scan."
"The new central console is better than the earlier one."
"The DLP and user interface are the most valuable feature."
"It's easy to use and it's very powerful. It offers nice endpoint protection."
"I would like the solution to extend beyond endpoint protection and include other attack surfaces such as other network components."
"Detections could be improved."
"The solution should address emerging threats like SQL injection."
"The solution is not stable."
"We'd like to see more one-to-one product presentations for the distribution channels."
"We've had a lot of false positives; things incorrectly flagged that require manual configuration to allow. Even worse, after we allow a legitimate program, it sometimes gets flagged again after an update. This has caused a lot of extra work for my team."
"Once, we had an event that was locked and blocked, but information about it came to us two or three days later."
"The security should be strong for the cloud. Some applications are on-prem and some are on the cloud. Fortinet should also have strong security for the cloud. There should be more security for the cloud."
"Must push to EXE files to the endpoints."
"The biggest thing I would like to see is malware remediation, if there is some kind of outbreak. We'd like to see better remediation and better detection and response. It's pretty good at capturing things, but it doesn't stop everything, so better machine learning would be helpful."
"We must have complete dissolution with advance care protection but we are finding out that we need more Symantec technical specialists. We have identified a need to hire at least one more technical specialist familiar with Symantec to improve our solutions capabilities."
"Future releases should ideally be cheaper."
"If there is a suspicious file, it is put into a sandbox where Symantec does an analysis. After the analysis, Symantec marks the file as a risk, but it doesn't blacklist or block the file. If a file is already known to be harmful, I would like them to automatically block or blacklist it to reduce the damage."
"The reporting function needs to be more user friendly in general."
"Reporting in this solution needs improvement."
"One suggestion I have for both regular and mobile would be to collect all the information about installed software, such as versions, and give that information to the manager to help with software management. That would be a huge advantage for everyone who administers these tools."
"We’re facing remote installation issues sometimes:"
"The price of the solution is high in Asia."
"The solution should provide a more easy way to uninstall it on specific stations."
"Its pricing needs to be improved."
"Patch management is unavailable"
"The product is not easy to use."
"I would like to see more integration with third-party products."
"The vendor should simplify the way they bundle the products because it's very hard to explain to customers what products contain which features."

I would look at Trend Micro's Endpoint Protection as well. The client is light weight and there are many features and benefits that comes with their service offerings. Some offerings are port security, Ransome ware scanning, Smart Scan and standard scan features which utilizes the processor of the workstations as opposed to having one server using it's resources to scan the client workstations. The firewall client also makes a great proxy server to restrict end user access to unapproved/untrusted sites. There is a really great messaging security server tool for exchange as well. They offer Hosted Email Security (It's bundled with the Worry Free Business Security Advanced Package) which acts as a pre-check or scanning buffer between the web and corporate edge network. Trend Micro also has protection for mobile devices as well.
