"Having all monitoring, response, tracking, and mitigation tools in one dashboard provides our analysts and SOC team with a comprehensive view at a glance."
"Fortinet has helped free up around 20 percent of our staff's time to help us out."
"NGAV and EDR features are outstanding."
"The main thing is that I feel safe. Because the processes that have been used to get a handle on the attackers are much better than other competitors"
"The setup is pretty simple."
"The price is low and quite competitive with others."
"It notifies us if there's any suspicious file on any PC. If any execution or similar kind of thing is happening, it just alerts us. It doesn't only alert. It also blocks the execution until we allow it. We check whether the execution is legitimate or not, and then approve it or keep it blocked. This gives us a little bit of control over this mechanism. Fortinet FortiEDR is also very straightforward and easy to maintain."
"he solution is an anti-malware product that integrates well with other vendor products such as firewalls, SIEM, etc. It captures threat intelligence and gives you better visibility. The product also has sandboxing features."
"The AI and machine learning feature is the most valuable because it helps mitigate threats based on an organization's behavioral patterns."
"I like Apex One's DLP and EDR features. The DLP is a good solution because it allows you to push policies. Source detection is another one. It automatically detects malicious IPs, domains, and URLs. Most of the time, it works automatically, but sometimes it doesn't quarantine or block, so we have to perform remediation manually and delete the file or application through Power Shell."
"Email security is the most valuable feature."
"The initial setup is not that tough. It's easy."
"The solution is very simple to use and easy to deploy."
"The solution offers quick and timely updates."
"The main features that are useful are application control, vulnerability protection, and XDR Vision One which we have recently started using. Additionally, the solution is easy to use."
"The most valuable aspect is achieving zero attacks and zero data compromise."
"Trend Micro Smart Protection includes compliance features where you can establish rules against endpoint vulnerabilities and attack parameters. It offers Smart Detection, Smart Update, and sandboxing to detect and analyze suspicious files, providing a smart approach to zero-day threat detection. Trend Micro Smart Protection offers rapid response to zero-day threats with a strong team backing up the discovery process. Virtual patching is a crucial feature, effectively closing vulnerable ports and access points. Regarding web reputation services, aggregating data from multiple sources, including Trend Micro, Proofpoint, and others, helps inform threat prevention efforts and automate responses."
"The tool offers centralized security management. The tool's deployment is flexible."
"The stability is good and I like the level of performance I can get."
"Helps with vulnerability and patch management, making it easier to provide top-notch services to our customers."
"The tool will query the information from the cloud to identify suspicious or malicious files that can be a threat. It will provide you with real-time updates on the latest and ongoing attacks and malware information."
"The solution is easy to use, flexible, and secure."
"Smart Protection is great for monitoring traffic, particularly email, and protecting the endpoints. Both are valuable."
"The antivirus signature is valuable."
"We've had a lot of false positives; things incorrectly flagged that require manual configuration to allow. Even worse, after we allow a legitimate program, it sometimes gets flagged again after an update. This has caused a lot of extra work for my team."
"I haven't seen the use of AI in the solution."
"I think cloud security and SASE are areas of concern in the product where improvements are required. The tool's cloud version has to be improved in terms of the security it offers."
"Cannot be used on mobile devices with a secure connection."
"The support needs improvement."
"ZTNA can improve latency."
"We find the solution to be a bit expensive."
"Once, we had an event that was locked and blocked, but information about it came to us two or three days later."
"The DLP model needs improvement."
"The solution needs to have SDR in it. So, SDR is an area where the solution needs to work and improve itself."
"The technical support should be more proactive."
"The menus can be more user-friendly or easier. For example, if we want to enable access to the USB ports, it should be more user-friendly. It is not easy. We need to navigate through several menus to be able to give access."
"The time required for Apex One to notify us of detection in the central console should be reduced."
"The solution could improve the Linux XDR functionality. It is not mature. There could be some improvement in the area of the use cases. For example, improvement is needed in OTN."
"The solution could use extra dashboards and offer more analytics."
"We have to manually log in to the machines and give them an update command."
"The solution’s technical support is not very good and could be improved."
"It is onsite. It does have its challenges in terms of scalability."
"The solution needs to improve the deployment so it aligns with the latest Microsoft patches and upgrades. It makes the deployment process lengthy and painful."
"Trend Micro Smart Protection needs to improve its compliance features to cover more domains, such as BCIDSS rules. Enhancements in this area would enable quicker and more comprehensive compliance reporting."
"I'm not sure about the cloud migration part, in terms of whether it is seamless or not."
"The solution should improve its mobile management solution."
"This product is not very simple and in fact, kind of hard for some people to understand."
"It could be faster in responding to new threats like ransomware."
