We performed a comparison between Celonis vs UiPath Process Mining based on our users’ reviews in five categories. After reading all of the collected data, you can find our conclusion below.
Comparison Results: Both solutions are very comparable. Users share favorable ratings for both, although UiPath Process Mining is considered to be more affordable than the paid version of Celonis. UiPath may also be simpler to deploy.
"Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a nine out of ten. Celonis is a wonderful tool, so you cannot find any drawbacks at the right moment."
"The solution has very detailed documentation for technical items so it is very easy for developers to use."
"Celonis, especially for high-risk finance-related processes, helped us make precise decisions and uncover hidden values within our architecture. It was one of the most significant values our business identified. Additionally, it helped us during the migration process."
"It performs well for connecting multiple processes."
"The solution offers very good division management."
"In my opinion, it's quite an advanced tool."
"From a features perspective, the discovery and analytics parts of Celonis have been valuable, especially the analytics and all of the out-of-the-box process connectors."
"The training material is good. The information is very systematic, detailed, and comprehensive. They have a training video for almost every single thing, which makes it easier to know how to use the tool."
"So far, we are just testing it and seeking out use cases, however, so far, it's been an interesting solution to work with."
"It has all the features in terms of being able to read and analyze data from various systems."
"The core mining analysis is strong."
"UIPath Process Mining is stable."
"When it comes to valuable features, I think the first one will be the way we can visualize the whole process."
"The personal learning tools are good."
"The visualization part, showing the number of cases processed successfully after a process is executed, is the most valuable. It also showed how effective a bot is after production. This kind of analysis that we got from UiPath Process Mining was good."
"UiPath Process Mining is definitely stable."
"Celonis is a little more expensive than UiPath. Maybe they can work on making it less expensive."
"It could be less expensive."
"They are killing the customers with high licensing prices. The tool’s pricing could be cheaper. Small enterprises wouldn’t be able to afford the tool."
"The Process Query Language (PQL) native language used in Celonis needs improvements. It has most of the process-related functions but we have queries from clients that cannot be done in PQL."
"The process analytics could be a bit easier."
"The solution needs to implement more automation aspects into the product. Right now, it's lacking."
"Similar to what SAP is doing with S/4HANA, Celonis should allow business users to create their own analytics tab. In my previous organization, business analysts were the only ones who were actively building these reports with Celonis, whereas SAP platforms are now allowing the business users to create their own reports with graphics and all other things based on the data that is presented. This is one thing that Celonis needs. Currently, just the technical teams are doing that. Sometimes, when we were looking at five years of data, it used to take up to 3 seconds. It wasn't bad, but we had to wait a little bit. It probably also had to do with the server. I don't know if it can be used on mobile devices. If not, that will be the way to go. They should mobilize it to allow people to see these reports on their mobile devices."
"We want to see its linkage to Robotic Process Automation. We would also like to see how can it lead to the implementation side and whether the transition is smooth."
"In an upcoming release, they could improve on the customization."
"Data crunching needs to be done by an analytics team and then imported."
"It is stable, but not the top of the curve. It can be improved, let's put it that way."
"Document Understanding can read up to a certain amount of accuracy. While I understand that they have already started working to improve that accuracy right now, I think the accuracy is still only around 85-90%. I would call that our main problem with UiPath currently."
"We found that the flow chart is not very clear for some of the complex processes."
"Cost of the solution is high."
"The initial setup can sometimes be a little complicated."
"It's quite an expensive solution."
