We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"A great solution for anyone wanting a modern endpoint device management solution.""It is a stable solution.""The main advantage is that Intune performs its intended functions effectively.""The most valuable feature of Microsoft Intune is having all our devices compliant with our policies.""The ability to (somewhat) manage full Windows 10 computers including EXE-based or MSI-based application deployments using Azure Active Directory as Identity.""The reporting and analytics features in Microsoft Intune have been a lifesaver.""Compliance and the policies that can be set are the most valuable features.""Internet-based access with security is what I have found to be most valuable. It is also a stable and scalable solution."

"We can reconfigure a client’s setup remotely with minimal effort.""The cloud dashboard's analytics data is particularly valuable, giving me insights into user activities and making it easy to track and manage devices.""It's robust, and we like the device availability, ease of purchase, and supplier stock availability.""The solution is easy to use and support.""It has facilitated zero-touch authorization events for our employees and their devices. Furthermore, Meraki Systems Manager plays a vital role in securing our notebooks.""It’s helped us manage our endpoints.""The most valuable features of Cisco Meraki Systems Manager (MDM+EMM) are its ability to do geofencing for devices, manage thousands of devices with only a push of a button, and quick application deployment in seconds. It's amazing. For example, in an education scenario, you can deploy an application update for thousands of iPads in two clicks.""The most significant benefit is that the deployment is quick and painless. You don't need a specialized IT department to implement and scale the network. It's easy to maintain, too. It only requires one or two network administrators."

Cons
"The difficulty of the the roll out is surprisingly difficult considering this product is supposed to be an integrated part of the 365 suite.""We faced issues with macOS support. The product should have better inventory and asset management.""The solution could improve its flexibility.""Regarding mobile devices, Intune is good, but there are other services that I would say are ahead of Intune from an administration and reporting point of view.""It needs incorporation of Knox, ZeroTouch, etc.""The add-ons must be integrated into the solution.""The pricing can be expensive if you are not combining it with other products.""The reports that are generated aren't so great. They don't give a lot of meaning so far, but that could be down to user knowledge than the actual reporting side of things. I'm not a big user of it, but I was a bigger user of MaaS360, and we used to be able to run weekly and monthly reports. In the case of any deviations. we'd get a warning immediately. That's not so easy to do or to get in place for Intune. This could be just a user issue, but when I compare both, that's the only thing that's lacking for me."

"In my opinion, the equipment availabilities and competitive pricings could be improved.""I would rate my experience with the initial setup a four out of ten, where one is difficult, and ten is easy. It is more difficult.""Security could be improved, and there could be more features that enable you to customize the end customer solution.""It doesn't seem to be able to establish some VPN tunnels with other devices in a particular way that such as an ASA can do for us.""It would be beneficial to have better integration with other OS.""The price of the solution could be reduced.""There are problems with the connection on the client side, and the app that was deployed could be better.""Integration with other tools, such as, ConnectWise Automate."

"We would like it if SAP could integrate the transactional mode as well so that users can perform transactional jobs by mobile-only."

    Reviews from Real Users

Microsoft Intune stands out among its competitors for a number of reasons. Two major ones are its ability to secure all devices under its management and the flexibility that the solution offers its users.

A computing services manager notes, "Its security is most valuable. It gives us a way to secure devices, not only those that are steady. We do have a few tablets and other devices, and it is a way for us to secure these devices and manage them. We know they're out there and what's their status. We can manage their life cycle and verify that they're updated properly."

The head of IT engineering at a financial services company writes, "The one feature we find most useful is the Mobile Application Manager. There are two types: we have the complete MDM and the Mobile Application Manager (MAM). We don't give our users phones, it is their own personal phone, and we need to allow them to have access to the company details on their phone. We need to create a balance between their own personal data and the company data. We deploy the Mobile Application Manager for them so that we won't be able to interfere with their own personal data."

Every user is unique. Every device, a bit different. Systems Manager keeps the network in the loop about constantly changing devices, automatically tracking device posture and adjusting security policies to match.

SAP’s comprehensive mobile management and security portfolio embraces mobile device diversity while safeguarding corporate information. IT no longer needs to struggle with disparate point solutions.

SAP Mobile Service for app and device management is a leading cloud-based enterprise mobility management (EMM) solution that integrates mobile device management (MDM), mobile app management (MAM), mobile app security and mobile content management (MCM). It optimizes the mobile experience for users and protects the organization by sealing the vulnerable entry points - devices, apps, and content.
