We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"For machine learning, there is an in-built document and text classification feature in INTELLIBOT. That is unlike other RPA tools where one needs to procure a separate license. Besides this, the application is easy to use. One valuable feature is the drag-and-drop feature for AI and email intelligence. It is easier than using UiPath's IQ bot.""This solution is easy to use and requires little coding knowledge.""There's a helpful community available through the portal.""It is a stable product. We have been using it for 15 months now, and there have been no issues.""I have found the most valuable feature to be the straightforward visual editor, it has close to no code required. It allowed us to deploy the email monitoring in this couple of weeks.""The replay of the automation is an awesome feature.""The return on investment is pretty good because the license cost is cheaper than other RPA tools in the market."

"Valuable features include rapid development and the scale of solution. The most valuable feature would be accuracy: The ability to perform the same job accurately and consistently.""I like the interface. It's simple to interact with. We can replicate and multiply the robots when we need to change something.""The most valuable feature is automating tasks that are highly repetitive, such as Accounts Payable. It is also easy to use.""The most valuable aspect of UiPath is the fact that it's a low-code platform. Being able to use a low-code platform really lowers the barrier entry of introducing automation. Normally, you fill in a request to go to IT to get a development resource allocated, and then you spend six months trying to do a project. Because UiPath is a bit of a platform, you can quickly, within weeks, start to knock off automation and get it checked and then successfully deployed. The low-code development environment is key for us.""The most valuable feature of this solution is the ease of deployment.""Building automation using the solution is easy.""The desktop Assistant tool provides a personal automation launchpad so that you can easily access and run automations. That's important because you don't have to go to someone every time you face a problem, or every time you have to run an automation process. It helps make you independent so that you can do your own tasks.""By automating tasks through the use of robots, we can achieve significant time and manpower savings."

Cons
"I would like to see the cognitive marketing platform improved.""The first pain point of INTELLIBOT was with the development. Whenever the company developed any command, they published it directly onto their SQL site, and our current automation got auto-updated. The second pain point was with the action set. It could be stronger. Moreover, if I am doing UiPath automation, I have to do it with the Internal Report for now.""The solution is heavily dependant on scripts, such as JavaScript or any other external script that needs to be a part of the system. If they want to grow, the scripting dependency should go away. They should have built-in libraries to pull in work from.""Currently, there are not many documents available on Google that explain each activity and how to use it or how to use the parameters and pass values.""A couple of times, we noticed that some bugs caused the bot to go in the wrong flow.""Has limited functionality and uses extensive resources.""The trigger actions need to be more robust."

More INTELLIBOT Cons →

"If we want to learn something new about UiPath, we sometimes cannot learn it directly from the UiPath Academy. We have to go and search on the web. It takes a few searches to find the solution. We do find it, but it takes time. UiPath should give the solution in one area.""We have to change our account representative every year, which is frustrating. We have to re-explain our business every year.""We don't use the UiPath Apps feature yet. I did a PoC on it and it looks like a wonderful product. But when we are using Action Center with Apps, the Action Center stage is built in Orchestrator, but the same field is not built in the Apps... UiPath Apps should be stepped up in terms of its functionality and integration with other UiPath products.""Some kind of code repository would be good. Other than that, everything is fine in UiPath. They improve it every quarter and bring something new.""Any unnecessary features should be removed. Only the relevant features should be there.""One of my biggest frustrations with UiPath is that they're constantly changing the underlying technology and adding features, so you're not always in a stable state. You're looking at the next shiny thing, and that distracts us from our initiative. Because we work with the government, we must go through the security assessment process each time they change something. We have to pay the costs associated with reviewing their infrastructure.""UiPath should make more of its advanced capabilities available to non-technical users through additional low-code features. They should also enhance their AI features and make more machine learning models available out of the box through the UiPath store.""The Citrix automation - the way that it's fragile right now - if that could be made stronger and more stable, that would be icing on the cake for UiPath."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "INTELLIBOT with the DPA costs approximately $1,500 USD."

  • More INTELLIBOT Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "It costs much less and it does much more than the competitors' solutions."
  • "The pricing differs on the requirements. If there is a huge purchase, then we get a discount. There is not a fixed pricing of the product."
  • "If you want to do a demo trial, it is a 30 days free."
  • "The community edition is completely free. Then, people say, "There is nothing to lose, let me try it.""
  • "There are operational benefits in terms of time savings and user satisfaction of not having to do menial, repetitive tasks."
  • "Traditionally, Automation Anywhere and Blue Prism are the biggest things competing against UiPath. Those are usually what most of the clients lean towards, if they see a cheaper licensing option. Clients choose UiPath because it's easier to deploy and learn within their teams."
  • "We saw ROI in 15 days."
  • "They give it away in the community edition for free, so I use it at home."
