We performed a comparison between Microsoft Entra ID and Thales SafeNet Trusted Access based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."What I like about Microsoft Authenticator is that it has good features. I also like that the tool is straightforward to use. Microsoft Authenticator also has a good UI that's very simple to use. I also like that I didn't find any limitations or negative aspects from the features of the tool because Microsoft Authenticator is not an extensive application. It has a two-factor based authentication which validates the user through the password, then it approves authentication."
"The feature that I have found most valuable is its authentication security. That is Azure Active Directory's purpose - making cloud services' security and integration easier."
"If you want to replicate a website at the frontend in Azure, it's very easy to do it globally."
"Conditional Access, Geofencing, and Azure Multi-Factor Authentication are the major security features to secure resources."
"The portal version of the Azure active directory is pretty robust."
"The solution offers business to business and client to business support."
"User and device management is the most valuable feature."
"The technical support is pretty good."
"The validation and integrity features of the endpoint are great."
"The interface is easy to use."
"The solution is simple to use."
"Lacks integration between applications and phones."
"If your organization requires additional security then the subscription will be more expensive."
"To look at more documentation, engineering, or an open standard would be nice."
"Technical support could be faster."
"For the end users, it can be confusing if they have worked for another company that had the Authenticator app. It is tricky if they have already had the Authenticator app and then work somewhere else. If they have to download it again and use it again on their phone, it is something that gets complicated. I know how to get through it. They just need to uninstall and reinstall the application, but for them, sometimes, it is confusing."
"Azure AD does not support legacy authentication protocols, such as NTLM or Kerberos."
"Azure Active Directory could improve by having an authentication service for laptops or desktop computers running Mac and Linux operating systems. They currently have authentication capabilities for Microsoft Windows. Having this capability would benefit people because in today's world everybody is working from the home environment."
"Better integration with external governance products would be a welcome addition to Azure AD."
"Lacks the ability to integrate network monitoring solutions and authenticate the app users."
"SafeNet's reporting and monitoring features could be improved."
"There's a dependency on Microsoft Azure."
