"It's super reliable. I don't think I've ever had a reliability issue with it."
"The user interface (UI) is very, very good."
"The solution is very, very easy to use."
"FortiGate firewalls are user-friendly, and I like the security profiling features."
"The most valuable feature is the policy routing and application control."
"The most valuable feature is the ease of configuration."
"The features that I have found most valuable are that it is good to use, and most importantly, the pricing. The customer especially likes the discount when they trade up or something like that."
"The solution is easy to administer thanks to its dashboards. The monitoring is really useful."
"SmartCenter and SmartLog are the best platforms to manage firewall rules. SandBlast Zero-Day is very useful when encountering any security leaks."
"Even though Check Point NGFW provides a set of security features that enforce protection on the network, the most valuable aspect is also the most used feature: the plain and simple firewall component. This is the core of the product and works to a great extent without the need for all other available bells and whistles."
"It improves user productivity and frees up system resources."
"The ability to split single hardware into multiple virtuals along with support for dynamic routing using BGP is very useful for our environment."
"The threat emulation blade and user identity awareness feature has helped us a lot in terms of perimeter security and have given us granular visibility of user access."
"Check Point NGFW provides a bunch of different products or Blades, as they call it in Check Point. The firewall engine is what we use the most but we also use the IPS IDS and Anti-Bot features. The solution provides many features."
"The central management and logging are frankly one of the top selling points."
"When our customer needs some optimization, along with performance and security. If they want everything in one package, I recommend Forcepoint because they have everything."
"The blocking, based on the signal provided, is the solution's most valuable aspect."
"I like the Firewall and the IPS."
"The initial setup is very easy."
"Forcepoint is a good, stable solution."
"They offer templates that provide detailed reports categorized by user, device, and internal network access."
"The solution offers sandboxing, which can be integrated at any time."
"I found the initial setup process to be very simple and straightforward."
"Its customer service could be better."
"The way everything is set up could be easier. Currently, people need a lot of experience and knowledge to administer it and to link it to devices."
"The firmware needs improvement because there are bugs when a new release comes through. Sometimes, the configuration changes, and it's a bit harder to see where the fail is. The first time that you have the firmware, it tends to have some issues, and it's better to wait a bit to update the equipment."
"Technical support is good but the response time could be faster."
"The reporting in Fortinet FortiGate could improve. Customers are having to purchase additional reporting components. When I have used the Sophos solution it is a complete solution, in Fortinet FortiGate you have to use additional tools to have the features needed."
"The performance could be a bit better. Right now, I find it to be lacking. Having good performance is very important for our work."
"They can do more tests before they release new versions because I would like to be more assured. We had some experiences where they release something new and great, but some of the old features are disabled or they don't work well, which impacts the product satisfaction. The manufacturer should be able to prove that everything works or not only that it might work. This is applicable to most of the other services, software, and hardware companies. They all should work on this. We cannot trust every new release, such as a beta release, on the first day. We wait for some comments on the forums and from other companies that we know. We always wait a few weeks before we use the updated version. They should also extend the VPN client application, especially for Linux versions. Currently, it has an application for Linux devices, but it doesn't work the way we want to connect to the VPN. They use only the old connection, not the new one. They have VPN client applications for Windows and Mac, but they can add more useful features to better manage the devices and monitor the current health of each device. Such features would be helpful for our company."
"Fortinet FortiGate could improve by adding enhancements to FortiMail, FortiSOAR, and FortiDeceptor."
"When installed on Windows, the system with low storage space slows down."
"The antivirus is less effective than its competitors' antivirus. The antivirus is good, but in other firewalls, such as Palo Alto, it's quite effective. Check Point should provide more output. Sometimes it provides comprehensive information and sometimes it doesn't."
"When it comes to Check Point's small business gateway series, there might be a need for hardware upgrades, as configuring them can sometimes be a bit challenging."
"The pricing could be better."
"Check Point is a bit difficult to use and manage so it would be nice to see some improvement in those areas."
"I feel the only thing that I see as a possible improvement in Check Point software is the lack of ability to create "static discard routes" which makes it difficult for NAT ranges to be advertised via BGP to neighbors."
"Needs to upgrade the IPSec VPN port"
"Technical support could be improved."
"The security features need to be improved."
"You do need knowledge of the solution in order to set the product up properly."
"The network interface could be better, and it could be cheaper."
"When it comes to a complex deployment, the rules, firewall features, SD-WAN core features, and auto-scaling can cause the device to be not quite stable."
"The solution needs to build upon its network functionality. It needs to be a bit smarter."
"Forcepoint would be improved if there were more training available."
"In larger companies with extensive infrastructure, retrieving logs for a longer period of time can sometimes take a bit longer than desired."
"I would like to see more sizing in the next release, and the roadmap should be clear."
