We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"It is working fine so far. I haven't heard anything bad about it from the applications team that is using it, so I assume that it is doing okay.""The most valuable feature for us is the Omnicon. That made sense for us because our company is now able to capture information from documents.""The most valuable features of Newgen OmniFlow are the user interface, the low-code no-code designer tools, and the integration models are important.""The most valuable feature is the flexibility in using it.""The UI is easy. It's not very code based, so you can make certain changes on your end.""They are a good team that is proactive, and they are trying to accommodate all of our requirements.""Newgen will structure the system based on all the requirements of the business. We can design the forms as complex forms or make our own versions to fix what's wrong."

"The most valuable feature for me is the collaboration point of view, where everybody has a single view, or source of truth, and everybody sees the same thing. Everyone can comment, contribute, and discuss the processes itself, which makes it easier to funnel down the most value adding comments and make the relevant changes to the processes. This leads to the next best iteration or version of your process.""In my opinion, the most valuable feature is the editor and its ease of use, and when people are looking at it, they can make comments about changes that need to be made.""The features I find most valuable are ease of use and the Collaboration Hub.""The most valuable features of this solution are the portal for spreading it over the organization, the usability, and the workflow generator in the background.""It is possible to do the whole drafting process at the same time in Sagnavio so you don't have a double effort of writing it once, arranging it and entering it again.""Process management/Process governance is what we think Signavio is very good at.""It is a very scalable solution.""The benefit of this application is that I can immediately describe processes and form normative documents for these processes. For me, this is definitely a plus. Сurrently, I work in a company that is not involved in the structural alignment of business processes. They have huge gaps in this. Nothing is described and there are no norms. Therefore, the formation of regulatory documents, rules, and descriptions of processes, not only in graphic form, but also in documentary form is an absolute plus. I have not found this in other process programs."

Cons
"There should be some reporting and dashboarding capabilities. I don't see such capabilities built into it. Sometimes, the leadership wants to understand the business cases that we want to automate. We face a lot of challenges to justify why we are using Newgen, and we need a way to present that to the leadership. If there is something out of the box and if we can get meaningful dashboards and reporting capabilities, it would be helpful.""We had consistent issues of Newgen OmniFlow crashing. It's not compatible with bounce browsers like Chrome.""I would like to see more automated analytics built into the solution.""Newgen OmniFlow could improve by having more out-of-the-box integration modules. It would be beneficial to have an analytics model that is not currently present.""The development teams should be more agile and they need to have more team members.""In terms of stability, like every product it has its issues.""At the system level, I would like to see things be much more flexible, especially for different document templates and introducing changes."

More Newgen OmniFlow Cons →

"One of the most important points in Signavio that would be a great change would be the management of variants of the process.""Typically, a business process management suite would cover the whole lifecycle, from discovery to optimization and operations. This is running on the process server and providing some kind of low-code environment for developing business solutions. I think the latter part is missing, where SAP Connector comes in. Specifically, the execution of processes is missing, where you would design forms to take orders. This is typically part of some development environment for the process server to run processes from out of the models.""The user administration, the user-group administration, and the license models need improvement.""Signavio already offers a wonderful range of functions. If variant management and customer journeys are optimized, Signavio can definitely bask in the glory of BPM tools. We also see optimization potential in the management of licenses, e.g. no named users but rather floating licenses and integration into the company's active directory.""The performance metrics appearing in the collaboration hub needs to be improved.""I would like to have the option to select the color of items and subgroups in the glossary because right now it is fixed.""Two executives cannot work on one modeling process simultaneously.""I would like to see more integration with the process manager in terms of the workflow accelerator."
