Pros
"The initial setup is very quick."

"With UiPath, we can automate any module, whether it is a desktop application, web application, or native application.""The solution has freed up employee time. It depends on the process, however, if I had to take an average, it is probably freeing up one full-time person, which is eight hours. On a monthly basis, around 150 hours are saved for a medium process.""We are running around 20 bots and have 105 automations in production today. One of our automations saved 25,000 hours. Overall, I'll say we have more than 250,000 hours saved for the organization.""The UiPath community has been great. There are a lot of great mentorships, a lot of forums, and a lot of people who are very interested in growing the community. It's been very nice to work with them. Anybody who is in UiPath has been an amazing partner for us.""UiPath Studio's UI automation activities help me in easily developing automation. It is difficult for RPA developers to write complex code because no one knows everything about all automation areas. For UI automation, it is not mandatory for a developer to know how to write the code for the element on the screen that needs to be clicked or typed into. The UI automation packages of UiPath provide built-in activities, and developers can directly drag and drop and indicate the element on the screen that needs to be clicked or typed into.""In UiPath, REFramework is useful for different use cases with predefined code templates. There are well-established steps. There is a step for code marginalization. Similarly, there are separate steps for initialization and processing. For closing an application process, a step is there. So, it is very well modularized for getting the transaction data. If there is one exception or anything wrong happens with an application, it will log the exception in the orchestrator and send an email. It can also close your applications and end data processing. So, everything is well organized and separated, and we can log the exceptions separately in the queues as business exceptions or application exceptions. We can have the complete report of a particular queue.""It's low code/no code which makes it very easy to work with.""It's easy to build automations in UiPath. It has a simple drag-and-drop interface."

Cons
"The solution should come with language customization, which would simplify its use for our customers."

More Another Monday Cons →

"They recently addressed a major problem of kick-off processes for the integration function. That addressed a lot of the community concerns around that. If you are using queues, their queue system isn't as reliable as I would like it to be.""The initial setup process seemed very complicated.""There should be a little bit of a longer trial version. I know that their existing trial version is around 30 days. I think it would be very beneficial to make that a 60 day trial for active POCs.""Updating the tool across multiple virtual machines can be time-consuming and somewhat cumbersome.""We've used AI functionality. On a real-time basis, we haven't seen many benefits from the AI center. It's not cost-effective to run models on it as of now.""The integration with APA should be improved with respect to adding data from external sources and being able to bring in data from third-party applications.""UiPath should lower its prices because many other RPA tools have reduced their prices, and Microsoft is a major competitor because it offers RPA services to its customers.""The should be more out-of-the-box models if UiPath keeps adding on."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "There is no licensing fee for our customers."
  • More Another Monday Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "It costs much less and it does much more than the competitors' solutions."
  • "The pricing differs on the requirements. If there is a huge purchase, then we get a discount. There is not a fixed pricing of the product."
  • "If you want to do a demo trial, it is a 30 days free."
  • "The community edition is completely free. Then, people say, "There is nothing to lose, let me try it.""
  • "There are operational benefits in terms of time savings and user satisfaction of not having to do menial, repetitive tasks."
  • "Traditionally, Automation Anywhere and Blue Prism are the biggest things competing against UiPath. Those are usually what most of the clients lean towards, if they see a cheaper licensing option. Clients choose UiPath because it's easier to deploy and learn within their teams."
  • "We saw ROI in 15 days."
  • "They give it away in the community edition for free, so I use it at home."

    Overview

Building a fully-automated robotic process environment where robot
workers performed an equivalent volume of work of over 1,500 full-time
virtual employees required the careful development and optimization of
    an RPA-architecture.
We created an architecture that embodies the best practices of both
RPA-methodology and RPA-tools. These two components defined automation
best practices like the enforcing of a rigorous process mapping and a
process automation design approach that captures every action for all
workflow possibilities and exceptions. Further, this enables a bot that
could seamlessly recover from exception-based failures. Ultimately,
that delivers industrial-grade performance at scale!

UiPath is a user-friendly automation software that streamlines business processes by automating repetitive tasks. It offers extensive automation capabilities, seamless integration with other systems, and robust security measures.

Users appreciate its intuitive design, ease of use, and ability to automate complex workflows.

Its seamless integration with various applications ensures smooth data exchange and enhances workflow management, while strong security measures protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with industry standards.
