We performed a comparison between Infor CloudSuite Industrial and SAP S/4HANA based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two ERP solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The solution is particularly effective for ERP. The automation of emails is a valuable feature for me. The solution is stable. The solution is scalable. Infor CloudSuite Industrial is better for its development aspect. It allows us to customize and implement changes more efficiently. The initial setup was straightforward. I recommend the solution."
"Infor's environment—ION and Infor OS—is better than SAP's. The load time is shorter and Infor performs much better than SAP."
"It is a scalable solution."
"Infor CloudSuite Industrial is easy to setup. The built-in solution is already there, so we can start implementing it right away when we install it in an organization. After going through different test executions and workshops, any missing features can be added using Infor extension tables and other products. It will take at least eight to nine months to go live."
"From a product perspective, it's more lenient and suitable for using features in finance, such as reconciling our payments, accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc."
"The customization capabilities of CloudSuite Industrial are also there."
"The product's most valuable feature is production planning. It is one of the core features."
"We did some research and chose CloudSuite because it has the flexibility to cover a range of areas. And there were many other factors like traceability, for example, which is crucial for food production."
"The finance solution and procurement functionalities are good."
"SAP S/4HANA is the preferred database because of its scalability, faster accessibility, compatibility, and other well-suited features for large data sets."
"S/4HANA falls under a single terminal. We can easily access the data, and the performance is good."
"The most valuable feature is the detail in all of the processes. The solution captures our policies and enables us to implement our policies in SAP. There are different models that address our needs."
"A robust product with integration between all modules."
"One of the most valuable features, which we used the most, was the FI module, for finance. It involved controlling, account receivables, account payables, and complete financial steering."
"SAP S4HANA has good performance and has allowed us to combine our systems."
"S4HANA is a completely integrated solution. It's an end-to-end ERP system with strong manufacturing and financial integration, which is not common among ERPs. And it's a solution that's driven by industry best practices."
"Infor needs to work on its documentation. For example, if I need to create a business object deployment from LVN to element, the instructions for this are insufficient. Many specific use cases aren't covered in the manual."
"There is room for improvement in the pricing. For us, it's the pricing aspect. Since we're South African, it's difficult when it's a dollar-based product."
"Planning needs to be improved. That is, industry-specific planning details need to be added and refined."
"The platform's distribution features need enhancement."
"Currently, there are some challenges with handling large reports, possibly due to setup limits or issues with the solution."
"The solution's support service could be better."
"Pricing is always an area where there is room for improvement."
"Regarding integration, specific third-party tools are not accepted, for example, on the old version of IBM or Oracle."
"This is a costly solution."
"SAP S4HANA is not suitable for all-size companies. If you have a small company there are better fit solutions for your needs."
"So, there is room for improvement in pricing. HANA is not a simple product; it's quite complex by design."
"S/4HANA could be improved with better integration. At the moment, a main issue I see is that there's so much growth in the functionality, complementary modules, and cloud solutions which were acquired by SAP and which extend the functionality of the SAP ERP suite. It looks to me that they tend to acquire more and more functionality from acquisitions, but they don't invest enough effort into making them integrated with S/4HANA or ERP. I would say that the functionality is great, but integration is something which still needs more attention. Instead of focusing on acquisitions, they should invest, integrate, and better the existing portfolio of products in SAP. It would help us, as implementors, to have a more complex or compact solution."
"In an upcoming release, it would be beneficial to have more practical intelligence in the system, such as protective maintenance, or artificial intelligence."
"Planned Order List needs a change of screen."
"The solution could have a better user experience. However, they are working a lot on the user experience and they have come up with various applications, such as mobile applications. This was lacking over the last two years."
"While the solution contemplates a competitively priced model, its pricing could be cheaper."
